because at then sammi had a contract with TVB as so she can only speak cantonese on TVB channel as termed by TVB! With other media like CEN(competitor to TVB in HK) you either speak english, mandarin or etc..etc but NOT canto!

i think that lady in the black is actually another singer...more like...old skool tho..
they said that she might have had tears because she originally sang this song with her long time (~13 years) boyfriend, Andy Hui ....
not sure if that was the reason why though...

I dont get why they didnt put that performance on the sammi vs sammi concert dvd.
Sammi always has tears whenever she sings that andy hui song like on her 96 concert she sang it there too and she was emotional.
