Damn, I didn't know getting to wing view would be that complicated, I thought hitting the typical 'C' or 'V' keys that changes views would get you there instantly.

mine is the same thing, about the airplane not haveing a virtual cockpit, and only wings. i downloaded it from simviation it was a camsim air new zealand and cam sim cathay pacific. so i deleted them.

no it doesnt stop going back.. it just cant move out of the virtual cockpit...get DBS walk and follow and you can get any view you want.

That's a different wing view than this one. That one is firm and you can't move it around. The view you are talking about will only show the upper part off the engines whereas by using this technique you can actually look straight into the engines and capture the entire wing.

I use this very easy way.....just open the aircraft cfg file of a default aircraft, copy the extra views, eg. wing views, passenger views, landging gear view and tail view and just paste them on the add on aircraft's cfg file right above [general]......go to your FSX and start the plane....check out your views and there you go...only thing you wont have is the Virtual Cockpit.

What I would do if you had no aircaraft with no virtual cockpit, is go to the wing veiw on the ordinary view selection, Hold Ctrl Enter, maybye even Ctrl Shift enter (and shift enter or backspace) Then, just simply Move the camera with Space bar and mouse to reposition it to your desired view, I Guess your teqniques fine thought, Just a little backup for Virtual cockpit planes. :)
