    Regards,

  • DOES ANYONE HAVE THE TRUMPET MUSIC FOR THIS?

  • Wow, excellent C-Mel tone! Almost tenor-like, defying the usual "alto-bottom tenor-top" stereotype. Beautiful :D

  • Oui! Quelle symbiose! Dave Laing est plus que parfait! Tout en douceur, en nuance et en subtilité! Vous nous offrez tous un moment de pur bonheur! Merci messieurs!

  • Sounds great! What kind of trumpet is that by the way?

  • @VagueTheory Hi, that's a 1920's Conn 22B trumpet.

    Thank you for your comment.

  • Where do you get mouthpieces, reeds, ect for these rare keyed saxes?

  • Hi,

Al uses a large Alto mouthpiece when he plays C Melody. Not sure which reed he uses, but he says the C Melody is basically an extruded alto. It has the same bore diameter at the key points along the air column as an alto, it's just a bit longer.

I have a few original C melody mouthpieces, let me know if you are interested,

    Randy Cole

  • @wideangleman That's pretty cool. I'm not looking to but another sax currently (just purchased a awesome alto) but I definitely would be interested in the future.

  • Great music guys.
