If you truly believe that those who are against gay marriage are bigots, then you do not understand their position and the concept of marriage. Calling those who disagree with your belief a bigot also shows the shallowness of your thinking.

Even though I'm pro-choice, I understand how people can be morally opposed to abortion, and I don't think their view is wrong.
When it comes to gay marriage, however, I think anyone who's against gay marriage is simply a bigot. If they weren't bigoted, they wouldn't care if gay people got married since it doesn't affect anyone. I'm Canadian and we've had legal gay marriage there for over 8 years. Guess what? The sky hasn't fallen yet! Homophobic bigots shouldn't be pandered to over this issue.

@themasterbakerrr - Please explain to me why a vocal minority should have the marriage laws changed simply to accommodate their lifestyle? Same sex marriage is not about "rights," but about legitimizing their lifestyle. Homosexuals cannot win by the vote, so they go through the courts. They are never satisfied.

No gay marriage is Honored or under God. God does not approve and if people would read the Bible and realize that HELL is real and those who go against God's word or mocks God's word will be punished in the end.

You are not in any position to say whether or not someone will be punished for their sins; God is almighty and God can forgive people for their sins.

..there is a PROBLEM in this idea of "gay marriage'...and the MORAL LAW GIVER: HOLY CREATOR GOD...tells us all why there is honor in marriage:..for the good of mankind. HE is the Law giver...and GAYS cannot "reinterpret" the moral laws of Scriptures and denegrate marriage to ANY AND ALL PEOPLE/ANIMALS/RELATIVES...and we all can see that "the immoral ideas" of the godless/characterless/and clueless...who do not care about moral law of God, can never be resolved by those who equate God as: nothing

God does not approve of same sex marriage, and when people go against God's word, they will be punished in the end. So sad how society thinks it's ok to live life like they have tomorrow, and to take God out of everything. HELL IS REAL..

@mompm It is clear you do not have a fundamental understanding of human nature. Some of which can be explained by science and much that cannot, like consciousness or universal morality. 5th grade science will not get you there. Did you get beyond that or is that where you got stuck?
