I'm having a really hard time with my XP10... Since I got it the charger hasn't worked how it is supposed to... I haven't had the light show up except for one time when the battery was 100% dead, and afterwards I unplugged it and replugged it in to see if it was a fluke and as I was afraid of, it didn't turn back on. I don't know if my charger has malfunctioned or what but it's become a large problem considering it's the only camera I have at the moment. Any ideas / help? Please ;D
@Ericmadethis I checked the manual and it says 20 minutes. Another user claims this is not right, but it sounds about right to me. If you want to record in lower quality you can get up to 120 minutes.
Thanks for posting. My family is considering this camera, and I found your video to be very helpful. We live in FL, so we're always in water, and I think this camera may be the way to go :)
Every time i record a HD video there is a vertical black stripe on the right.
There is in this video too.
Try this: record a video then open it using VLC or Quicktime, don't use windows media player because it play the video with a black frame around the video.
@Zerho69 Oh. I see it now. Hardly worth worrying about, if you ask me. Others were commenting on a black bar - I'd hardly call an 8 pixel stripe a black bar. Thanks for pointing this out.
What sd card are you using? I'm off to Mexico soon and just got this camera yesterday and wondering how much video I could get before running out of card.
@peteydiesel I'm using a Panasonic class 4 SDHC card, 4GB. I've never filled the card up but I suspect you can get around 30 mins worth. Hope this helps.
@dlormansNZ 30 mins? i would say alot more than that...,i only have a 4 g and have taken videos up to 48 mins long and still had hundreds of pictures and room for more!
It sounds like you keep covering up the mic with your finger I think it would be best if I learn how to hold it so I don't do that once I recieve mine.
Really weird video lol... at 0:58 the quality is markedly better... but before then it isnt as good, and the volume is up and down like a yo-yo, haha :p Nice vid tho
@Skleevan Thanks for your comment. The sound is not great with this camera. The volume changes are because the microphone is very sensitive and in a position where your finger touches it a lot. It also seems to be affected by the water.
it´s me or the kid had a sock?

Also, How are the pictures at night ( or with low lights ) without the flash?

@Raildog111 Hi. Yes we are satisfied with the camera overall. Keep in mind it's a budget model though. Low light images can get quite noisy.

In overall, are you satisfied of the product? I am thinking about buying one

@TheFileshare Sorry, no idea. We actually bought the XP10 on a bit of whim, without much research. From what I've read the W90 is a good camera too.
