  • Anyone trying to loose weight.... please look into gluten. Research it, plan it out for a few days then try going gluten free. I noticed HUGE improvements in just a few days. My knee pain went away, cravings stopped, problems sleeping vanished and my skin is clearing up. I've been gluten free for 33 days and I will never go back. I've lost 17lb with little effort. Many millions are gluten intolerant and don't know it. You can find out in just a few days by just not eating it.

  • Uh..well, I'll tell you true Dude, you would do well to keep going. 300 pounds is still a very unhealthy number, but congratulations anyway on your magnificent effort so far. I managed to lose 16 pounds in January alone which put me down to 199. Believe it or not, I am a vegetarian since 2006. I discovered that portions matter and snacks are nothing but evil. Threw out all the white stuff too - potatoes, noodles, rice - the entire starch family. 1 grapefruit for breakfast each morning.

  • @pianodavy one step at a time, he's been over 300 for quite a while, so being under 300 will really be an achievement for him. He knows how to get skinnier but hey, not everyone has an amazing metabolism, but our gigantic asses.

  • I've lost two hundred pounds over the last six years. I went from a size 34 to a size 8. I'm pushing forty and I'm in the best shape of my life.

    What happened was that I used exercise to successfully avoid getting gestational diabetes with my third son and he came out so good that I *wanted* to exercise every day after that.

    Seriously. Aaron came out that good.

  • Don't eat past 7 PM and try to do at least 200 sit ups before going to bed. This has been working for me. I begun last week and I already lost 8 pounds.

  • Seems a little misleading... If this is about losing weight, the scale would get off very lightly surely.

  • I've been hearing some good stuff about eating foods that reduce the acid level in the body. The idea is to eat alkaline inducing foods to balance ph levels. Basically it's just a healthy eating kind of approach, but it's an interesting way of looking at nutrition.
