  • Victor Buono Looks old[early 20s]

  • This is indeed an All time Great. Bruce Dern did his usual excellent performance in the opening Scene as the Beau who gets killed. You didn't need all the Blood and Gore that they show today! 10-stars! Thanks very much for posting!

  • I was just thinking about this movie but couldn't remember then I stumbled across this and when the guys hand was chopped off..I said "this is it!"

  • Gracias, RocyMartinez por la pelicula--mi favorita cuando yo era muy joven.

  • Unfortunately Bette Davis's voice is too old to be a teenager's when she screams

    "I could kill you!"

  • @SGCSW I'd have it no other way, though.

  • Gracias, gracias y mil gracias! ^^ La estaba buscando desesperadamenteeeee!

  • Muchas gracias por subir este video. Es una película muy buena, mucho miedo.

I don't mind the subtitles because I can learn more Spanish.

  • i remember watching this with my mom when i was 9 , scared the crap out of me. the part where his head rolls down the stairs gave me nightmares lol

  • @sirpuffsalot Thanks for the spoiler DUH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm happy for the Spanish subtitles. I like this movie and I'm learning Spansh too. The best of both worlds.

  • This is one of my all-time faves. Second to What Ever Happened to Baby Jane. Found them when I was 12 in a box of VHS in the basement. Instant love. Bette Davis was a queen of the screen, wasn't she? Thanks for posting.

  • The chops are so clean, the murderer must have been a professional butcher.

  • Lee's hand that was cut off was in fact real, according to the documentary they picked it up at a funeral parlor and filmed it in reverse. Also at 9:27 the actor wielding that cleaver must have actually had to cut the hand off with a pretty hard blow. at that time stamp look at the narrow chunk of wood taken out of the table from the cleaver's contact with it!

  • That cleaver murder must have been pretty damn graphic for '64 given how many graphic thrillers came out then, such as Strait-Jacket with Joan Crawford, also from '64.

  • @thEannoyingE It was! My parents took me to see this when I was six.

  • Gracias Rocy for posting this great movie!!

  • I love Sam Hollis and love quoting him: "You shut your filthy mouth!!" "She aint gonna give it to you!" He's so southern campy!!

  • A must-see classic well done scarey movie.

  • OMG!! This is so great that someone uploaded this. Thank you RocyMartinez!!

  • Victor Buono who plays her father here also played the music teacher in Whatever Happened To Baby Jane.

  • @hjb103055 From what Ive read Bette was not to keen to have Victor in Baby Jane ,why I dont know! Whatever,he impressed her enough to play her father in HushHush-

  • @newrochellephoenix she didn't want her "leading man" to be a fattie. why she was so vain about it who knows especially considering the grotesque makeup she came up with for jane.

  • It's good how the picture behind him is set there to mean he feels intimidated.

  • wonderful movie. apart from the performances by the two main stars, watch out for a blistering performance from agnes moorehead as the housekeeper. this is powerful stuff.

    G r a c i a s! :D
