His typical British self hate really detracts from this documentary. They overdo the self criticism and romanticize the foreign. Skewed relativism. He completely misses the connection between the dynamic nature of Christian art and society.

Christian art was wildly varied and dynamic. The changes were extreme and relatively often. Our history reflects that. The unchanging order and stability of Muslim art facilitated and reflected the stagnation that is troubling Islam today.

@26blanco He should have mentioned that hospice is located in Beaune. Burgundy, France. In the middle of the wine country. That's a mistake Monsieur Collins! These days we travel. We need locations.
