your correct my brother, if you have a solicitor/lawyer represent you, you have to sign for him to do so (at least in England with a duty appointed solicitor), so by signing you are just contracting via joinder and passing your strawman person over to him. He is actually trying to defend your person which is what your trying to avoid in the first place.

Thawadah ahch... I've been to traffic court plenty of times... "presenting" myself and address the court as follows... I claim common law jurisdiction, I do not consent to a plea, and waive all the benefits of doing so, and I reserve all my rights... I've successfully gotten out of 3 cases in MD but never had success in DC... if you could email me ahch i'd appreciate getting your input on how I could polish up on my in-court skills... @beefykt72 Fist you do not have to physically attend court there is an option to fight it by mail. Brother a ticket is a transaction of a security interest , you have 3 days to void it out if you do not agree with it. " A transaction of a security interest is an order to pay or perform". You always have 3 days to discharge this law and equity act.

@TheMightySovereign On the second hand brother to have standing even in traffic court "the plaintiff must allege personal injury fairly traceable to the defendant. allegedly unlawful conduct and likely to be redressed by the requested relief" allen Wright 468 US 737, 751(1984) In other words if they cant show standing they cannot proceed.
