This conspiracy crap is idiotic. There's no secret organization out there pulling strings. Government corruption comes from one thing: it's called lobbying - corporations have money. Politicians need money to run for office. Corporations give money to politicians who will pass laws favorable to them. Obama's obviously not the antichrist, because - as described in Daniel (the book) - the latter will have "no love for women" ('cause he's full of himself), and O's got three he apperantly loves alot (his wife and daughters). Universal Health Care is not more controlling that the Patriot Act, however, a) it was an act of congress signed by Bush, and b) the Affordible Health Care Act of America is personally championed by Obama to push it through. That said, again the latter is not more controlling, but holds strong controlling potential in different ways: government oversight of the redistribution of wealth, legally required 'voluntary' services, even ethically and morally divisive subjects supported, and more. next

Additionally, the majority of his appointments have been those who historically favor stronger more centrist governments. The majority of "W's" statements and appointments (people) have been toward decentralization - though he still signed both the Patriot Act and Economic Stimulus Act, so I can see your point.

To clarify myself at the end of "Universal... next" post: the "ethically and morally divisive subjects supported" primarily refers to Abortion coverage and Stem Cell research supported by government money (tax money). In my views this is wrong. That said, even for those who disagree with me, such concepts are morally and ethically divisive: even if they aren't inherently evil, some strongly regard them as such, causing the division. It's not meant as a put-down to Obama, so apologies.
