This one is better . I got Nokia E63 and Ipod touch 4G that all. I still love it. As you know I use E63's 3G to connect to my Ipod Touch 4G to surf internet and it's fast on internet I swear . so amazing . I even got C3 nokia but I didn't use it so long . peace.

whenever i start the browser and go to a site, does it say "Conencting to ATT" every time? what if it's on wifi? can i set the wifi as default?

@0501701 i guess the "connecting to ATT" is to alert you on the 3g internet usage. you may set the WLAN on (on frontpage) when you press it (''Refresh' or 'search for WLAN' -->then 'start web browsing') it will search for wifi connection instead of using the default ATT.

y is browsing on mine so slow? I dnt use wifi. It takes ages to load one site. Google is fine but other sites not so much. Not to mention hw easily the battery drains. I wouldnt suggest ppl to buy it. Dont! Its a big disappointment.

i bought a 5800, not so happy with it especially with the touch screen as you have to touch all the time to text etc, its a pain trust me, im finking of selling it and buying this one.hope this helps ..

I've read in some guides that when you press 5 when viewing pages in the browser it should open the history list. I've tried it but nothing happens. The rest of the number button shortcuts work fine. Is it because of the firmware? I'm using 200.21.012.

@EmilyyMatee Yes, it is. i've had this phone for about 2 years now, and the only minor problem i've had with it, is after a year and a half or so, ther d pad starts to loose the paint.. but my father has the e71 and it also has the same problem. you can but kits for to replace the entire key pad and navigation buttons, and they are about 15 dollars.. the battery life is EXTREMELY long as it lasts about 7 days.

don't worry about getting a theme for Nokia E63 because themes even work in Nokia E63, as usual. It means you can still change the theme the way you want.

I'm confused as to which one I should buy... Nokia E70 or E63?  E70 has a joystick and that's a discomfort, but the qwerty pad is elaborate and can be folded back to reveal the original keypad. E63 doesn't have a joystick which is good and has a better build quality and looks, but the qwerty keys are not that spacious when compared to E70. Any experts pls comment. Which one to buy?

i tried out the e71 before settling for the e63, for P7000 less here are their main difference:

1) hsdpa vs. none (you won't need it much because the unavailability of the connection - network dependent) if you intend to use it with wi-fi, it won't matter;

2) 3.2 mp vs. 2mp camera (if you want better pics use a digital camera instead)

3) keyboard layout - they did a better job on the e63

4) built in gps vs. none

i tried it, and it works. i used the nokia suite driver for the cable. transferring files via usb cable is much faster than a bluetooth especially for larger files. You could find a compatible / similar cable in SM Southmall Las Pinas 2nd floor cyberzone stores for P500 (generic) P800 (class A) and P1,200 (original).
