ive welded up a smaller bike from a scooter 2 stroke engine that went alot faster, sadly i didint know fuck all about 2 strokes so i fucked the engine, i put it on the side of the road and it was gone in 5 minutes.first thing i ever welded too! :(

a tip for whoever wants to build one... is that never build a mini bike with suspension because the chain will come off constantly

Not true.... The swingarm has to be built to the correct geometry. If its incorrect, the chain will slack when the suspension is despressed and fall off... You could also use a spring chain tensioner to resolve your issue

how long is that bike? mine is 25 inches total, with an 18.5 inch wheel base. Mine may not go near as fast, but i do have brakes, a clutch, and a seat. Great job on the bike, good to see im not the only nut out there

I built one almost exactly like yours a while back, using an unmodified "runt bicycle". But I decided to go rediculously small. So I hacked the frame in half, put goped wheels on it, made it more like a real motorcycle with the engine in the frame, and ended up with this thing. I keep bugging myself that i need to put a clutch on it, but never get around to it

If anything, I'll make the frame smaller.. The entire point of this project was to make it as small as possible, and still ridable. Also, the motor is not stock. It is ported quite heavily, has a huge carb, advanced ign. and modified exhaust (The can is hollow and has a tuned length stinger that sticks out the bottom). I have to get on the gas gradually, as it is rear biased. It will wheelie over easily if Im not careful.
