its hard to tell when you were clicking stuff and when you werent,i had to rewatch the video 10 times before i did this on my game because i couldnt tell if you were clicking them or not at first,in future videos please only go to the handle when you need to click it >.< or at least add an annotation/audio saying "oh dont click this now i was checking to see which one this was" or something like that =/

Guys, i got Volsong at lvl 2!!! But i player on novice because at lvl 2 you dont have anything good. I used sparks, Firebolt and flames. It took me 20 MIN to kill him. And à LOT Of potions.

If you get the sword "Dawnbreaker" from the Deidra Meridia, it makes missions like this 5x easier. Promise.

@scorpionsphynx How is it easier, the sword just burns the target, my Daedric Sword does 60 damage, it's way better than Dawnbreaker, plus I can always summon a Dremora using a Sanguine Rose, he's fucking strong, he has a Daedric Greatsword which also burns the target.

@ShaNz194 At the time I couldn't make daedric swords. Dawnbreaker easily made due. Plus with the chance of making undead run, it made it even easier to kill all undead, even deathlords.

@blooddrinkerS Thats exactly what I thought, too. I guess because the snake is the smallest preditor of the four, but honestly some snake venom can down a bear fast. Plus the foxes in skyrim are all wusses! :D

I did this myself but it took me a while to figure that the snake was what "feared all", I thought it would of been the fox. I guess I just instantly associated the snake with the more infamous ones like pythons or rattlesnakes which could totally take a fox in a fight, when it must of been referring to weaker snakes. :/

Ok so I went and killed everything in this dungeon. (Great axe wearing light armor, level 15, master difficulty (obvious brag).)

I go back in and can't get through this part.

If I try to jump down the mountain, it just bugs up my quest compass.

Did this at level 31 on the way to get some Axe the dog Barbas needed to get in the graces of his boss.

The demon was extremely easy to finish (and so are basically all the enemies I encounter) since it was focusing on Barbas and this dog is invincible.

if you get blocked in the dungeon, try to stun the boss with the shout, run to the door, and go out, easy peasy. at my level the boss was unbeatable for me, so i took the book and run run !

The boss was quite easy I just stood really close to him kept sidestepping around him and he couldn't hit me, so I meleed him down my my 60damage sword, make sure to soul trap him if possible he gives a grand soul, the skeleton master just before him also gives a grand soul.

I think a ton of people did the same thing, myself included. So far I went back to volksygge and back in, did the stuff above to open the door.. now.. nothing.. its all cleared from before, so how i finish this quest is anybody's guess.

Ok, confirmed unless somebody knows something I dont, you'll have to take an earlier save and redo this quest via entering Volskygge not killing the end boss via climbing the hill.

Worst quest ever!! Its not even the hours I was chasing my own tail, I can deal with that although making the quest that easily glitchable is just stupid its the fucking dog who doesnt stop barking, getting in my way and pushing me while Im trying to creep Quest honestly worst quest chain in any game

I feel like i bugged out the game, I'm in the room with the two trap pits (only one works) and the third hidden room but I can't advance after that! When I go to leave the room the bars are down and I've looked everywhere to try to open them! The monster has already spawned in the other room, did it trigger without me (and it would have opened after I killed him?)

@scottyboyy Hey Scotty, you did exactly the same as me. It took me a good two hours to work this out, as it was the first place I got really stuck. Turns out we just made things more difficult! If you did what I did, you climbed to the top and entered Volskygge Passages, which means you fought the "end boss" first and the place got gradually easier til you reached the place you described. Why? We did it backwards. -_- Go outside and down the mountain to "Volskygge", which is the front.

@StupidPeopleSTFU Yes, alas I found a "cheap way" to get past the gate, there is a command in the console prompt (you activate the console by pushing the "§" key) type in TLC or TCL can't recall, that will enable noclip so you can walk right past the gate and get to the other side. This was the only solution I found, don't abuse it ;)

@Tynen I killed him easy as shit on expert as a conjuration/archery char. I just conjured my frost elemental and had him take all the damage while I shot him up with like 25 arrows from the bound bow.

@Tynen it wasn't so difficult to kill him . i thought it was difficult but then i realized i did him a lot of damage in 5 seconds. i was lvl 21 and i used a glass warhammer with 112 damage(i used 4 skill points in two handed weapos to increase damage by 80%),and full heavy armor,3 potions of major health with 334 hp and 210 stamina and its dead
