  • Fu$%&="!·# cool

  • @Exodusinflames Dude. Superiority complex, much? I acknowledge that this is some great music, but you're making it sound like you have to be Stephen fucking Hawking to "understand" it. I bet I could find some technical music that you would find just horrible, and I could say the exact same thing you just did.

  • @Deathmetalisfun i like it its good music and its like a goal to achieve the skill to cover mishas songs for me at least on the drums

  • @Deathmetalisfun someone likes to start shit over the internet....

  • @Deathmetalisfun I'm glad someone pointed that shit out. There are a lot of fucks who think something is ridiculously complex, and no one else can understand how crazy it is. We all know motherfuckers are crazy at writing music, and we all acknowledge that it's intense and complicated, so people need to settle down.

  • @Deathmetalisfun a matter of taste ? completly ? maybe.

  • @Deathmetalisfun i agree. this music isn't even that complicated. it's pretty advanced as far as metal music goes, but there is nothing in here you don't learn your first year taking jazz theory. if you want to know what truly advanced composition sounds like listen to, believe it or not, a blue grass band called the punch brothers. the lead mandolin player, chris thile, is an acknowledged musical prodigy by both oxford and juliard. im sorry to say your precious mansoor is not.

  • @kimdpham

I agree, but it's a fucking Mandalian, put an 8 string in his hands I'm down. Now go listen to you're prized chris thile well i enjoy distortion!

  • @kimdpham Wow dude. Just because Misha isnt an "acknowledged musical prodigy by oxford and juliard" doesnt mean to say he isnt one. I think in the eyes of everyone who listens to Bulb or Periphery he is an acknowledged musical prodigy. Most of his stuff is all natural anyways Im pretty sure, as in he didnt have to go to some hoity toity school to kick ass, it all just pure talent. Listen to some of Bulb/Periphery's other stuff if you dont think this is complex

  • @bodhiskyy lol chris thile didn't go to those schools until his full ride when he got to college. they discovered him and labeled him a prodigy when he was like twelve or sumthing. Im not saying it's not good or not intelligent composition. this was a remark to some kid sayn everyone was too stupid to understand wat was going on in this music. i was just letting him know this music is good, but it is not genius. in truth animals as leaders (tosan) has by far more intelligent composition.

  • @kimdpham Did you just mention the words "Jazz Theory" and Mansoor together...? You should know that Misha does not get bogged down in elitist views and trying to learn excess amounts of theory. He knows non - to very little - theory and plays what sounds good to him. He's loved by people because his material and melodies he can create can be quite original and experimental. So stop calling Misha just because he is not up to scratch with your elitist musical opinions.

  • @avenegedslaterfold hahaha you're a fag. end of story

  • @kimdpham Hahaha regardless of sexual preference, you sir, just got owned.

  • @avenegedslaterfold nope clearly you have no understanding of music, and are a very untalented individual. i sympathize with you, though i didn't know you knew misha so well... have you not seen his educational videos on constructing modes and poly odd time signatures? seems to be a strange topic for someone who apparently never studied theory before. im not bashing him fuck ass, if you look above u'll see the chain was bashing some kid who said people were too dumb to get his music.

  • @kimdpham Apologies good sir if this is the case. But i do actually understand music, and i've seen some videos where he hints at theory but he often follows it by saying "I dont really know theory though". I have seen many of misha's comments on youtube saying he doesnt know theory and he has admitted that he has created much of his music without the aid of music. I didnt look at the chain, so my bad. There's no need to start calling me though. I've not called you anything once. Calm it.

  • @avenegedslaterfold You don't have to insult someone else to earn an insult, you just have to say something stupid. You not having called names.. doesn't mean you don't deserve an insult.

Not that you've said anything dumb here.. other than that shit at the end. You are the thief who says this: "What?! I didn't hit you, I just stole all your shit, so why are you hitting me!? Stop!"

  • @wifflum Its just my personal opinion that insults often are quite petty and dont add value to a person's point of view or argument. And i like that analogy, and i understand it. But i wouldnt say it applies here. I was just saying there was no need for him to start bashing out insults for the very reason ive just stated before. In my personal opinion its just petty. Yes, i called him elitist technically and i kind of immaturely told him he got owned, but i didnt insult him like "You twat".

  • @wifflum oh my god its the same douchebag from the other bulb video! Way to restrain your anger again bro!

  • @kimdpham Without the aid of theory*

  • @avenegedslaterfold oh yeah sure genius. he just naturally knows the terminology as well as using it.

  • @kimdpham Hahaha no of course not. He plays in a band with other musicians who know theory. Therefore he understands some of the concepts but if you did actually watch interviews with him, he explicitly says he doesnt know theory and that one day, when he can be bothered, he'll learn it. Jeez calm down mate hahaha

  • @avenegedslaterfold you can tell he's no theory genius. im noty saying that at all... cuz he's not. that's why his music isnt that theoretically complex. it's all simple stuff like tritones, melodic minor, diminished, whole tone scales over simple regular and odd timings. the most complex and common timing only achieving 5/8. you don't need to know theory or take any courses to know those basics

  • @kimdpham Agreed :)

  • @kimdpham Cmon, this isn't jazz! anything more isn't nedded. I know nothing a bout "complex" music theory haha, but I know that this sounds freaking awesome!!

  • @kimdpham this music really is truly is not that complex and is a far stretch from being genius. that's why TRUE musicians and musical analysts from oxford, yale, juliard (not hormonal insecure adolescents) do not regard his music as anything special, let alone prodigy. it's because it isn't. it's really fucking good and i love listening to it. i'm just a rationalist and am disagreeing with @Exodusinflames. you don't need to be stephen hawking to "understand" this music. you just need jazz I&II

  • @kimdpham I only listen to musical prodigies. There is no joy out of less than perfection.

    jkjkjkjk, but seriously, thats crazy.

  • @Deathmetalisfun death metal is fun

  • @Deathmetalisfun Agreed; the ones who exaggerate a song's technicalities tend to be the ones who understand it the least. :P

  • fuck lil wayne take that shit to lil waynes music video not here on bulbs music ass wipe!

  • hey everyone lil waynes outve prison best news all day

  • Would it kill him to repeat a riff for more than 3 measures? Bah! Just kidding, this is quality, but is definitely a little over my head. I suppose I like my metal with a touch more groove, like Psycroptic or Decrepit Birth. I'm glad there are no periphery style vocals though.

  • @niftycakes listen to froggn bullfish

  • so how does one "stem the gush"?

  • @James666Brown you find a gush and you stem it

  • @James666Brown wear a condom

  • @James666Brown sorry, don't wear a condom

  • 1337 viewer >:3

  • most of it is loosely based on diminished scales, from what I can hear. really complicated shit though

  • @justin7031 & ZoomGeek & masbuddha & sauron610

I didn't say it was random, I just say that to me, it sounds random... Not saying he has not put any work into it, and I deeply respect that you like this piece of music, just not my style ;)

  • 1:19 THAT, is fucking djent

  • @66650043661148305595 fuck you its DJENT!

  • @66650043661148305595 its like matchcore although its random the essence on creating such patterns and tune are just astronomical. Misha wouldn't have created this song if it was on random. :)))

  • @66650043661148305595 this guy is not random, Misha is one of the greatest music composers of all time, and even if it was random, it still sounds pretty damn good

  • @66650043661148305595 You're a towel.

  • @66650043661148305595

Its actually not random at all. Its structured chaos. There are very few people who can who can listen to it, and much fewer still who can actually understand it. This music is actually how people like Misha think. While outwardly appearing normal, the mind is running thousands of directions at once. This just stems the gush

  • Comment removed

  • @JEESherazi I know, its the way I think and write too :P

  • @Exodusinflames i am the same way and can deffinetly understand this music

  • @Exodusinflames nahhh the more you listen to it the better you understand it

  • Misha Mansoor owns!!! I can't wait for Periphery's release!
