I heard of Muse because MCR had them as their opening act on part of their tour in 2007. I saw them live for the first time and have been a fan since then. MCR are great, and they were giving Muse a mention when they were mostly unknown here in the US. Now, Muse is my favorite band because of that! I love them a million times more than MCR, so no haters on either band, OK? :)

MCR said themself in an interview about Muse that they think Muse is hell lot better than them, and set them on an extremly high standard. Though even if Muse is better at their instruments and composing music, it doesn't mean that people will like Muse more than MCR. MCR got just as large fanbase as Muse does. (Yeh, I'm the greatest Musefan in Sweden, and I dislike MCR. But you should respect ANY band who do music on their own and don't get bought by media)

I'll get thumbed down but I can say why. Personally I don't like the looks of vocalist and that guy on guitar(the one with afro). I absolutely hate their clips, espiecially "Black Parade" and "Helena" videos, in my opinion they are ridiculous. On the other hand, I love their song "I'm not okay"(or so), it was my favourite song in Burnout 3 game :)
