good for the officer they need it thim officers r i should say most of thim officer is no better thin the inmates and the officer get a way with to much let a inmate fart the wrong he gets a case if u ant like n tdcj ur gonna have hell from the officers i no my husbands goin thew it now on a tdcj unit got a case for something he did not do u think tdcj r austin will c his side hell no

Now for the death row bit...That video where they put that guy on a gurney was actually more humane than the alternative. IF they had carried him by arms and legs, he could have died from positional asphyxia. That's why they started using the gurney and the boss chair. Those of you spewing this stuff need to go to work there for about six months. I promise you that you will change your tune the first time one of them tries to shank you...

It's not always true that the guards were all in on it or anything. Sometimes TDCJ will engage in witch hunts and it is especially true if female officers are involved. With no evidence, they will get other officers to write IOC's to railroad anyone. I've seen it happen and I used to be a sergeant. I quit because the administrations in many units are often the type of people that when done messing offenders over, they will eat their own young. I've seen it more than once.

Well, obviously these guards were in the wrong if they quit after the incident in question. They clearly didn't want the TDCJ officials to find out what REALLY happened.

I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE IN BEEVILLE , TEXAS THAT HAVE SAID THE ONLY REASON THEY WILL NOT WORK THERE IS BECAUSE OF THE LONG 12 HOUR SHIFT.THEY NEED TO CHANGE IT BACK TO AN EIGHT HOUR SHIFT WITH 2 DAYS OFF. I WOULD WORK THERE IF IT WERE AN EIGHT HOUR SHIFT AS WELL. I REALIZE THE EMPLOYEES THEY HAD (AT THAT TIME)VOTED FOR THE 12 HOUR SHIFT.MANY THAT I KNEW GREW TO REGRET THAT DECISION SOON AFTER IT WENT INTO EFFECT.ITS THE BIGGEST DOWN FALL.THEY NEED TO WAKE UP.
