The MacBook air should at least be about 300 dollars less. Also how fast is it on safari?

@codyasjlb Well safari works well and like on any other mac, start up is fast due to the ssd, besides that no difference.

@Jaysondk Hey, I owned and used the13 inch MacBook Air for several months and I was really happy with it.

For watching movies and surfing the web it is a great machine!

I would wait some time though since Apple is supposed to refresh the MacBook Airs in the next couple of weeks.

Hey!! helloow it seems you are an expert in mac haha so maybe you know why it tells me theres is not a camera connected since the camera is integrated,when i want to use the iphoto or the skype, i don't find a turn on button for the iSight, do you know why is happening this?? i hope you could help because i hardly ever use it and i hope is not damage....by the way it is a macbook air 11"

@MakeupmeGP Hey, unfortunately I do not have a solution for this.

I have used several MacBooks over the past years and never experienced an issue like this and as far as I know there is no on or off switch for the isight camera.

You might want to contact Apple care, usually they are able to help fast.

@hkyoon Unfortunately I can't give you an exact answer on this question since I did not check when I purchased mine.

I would calculate around 8-10gb though.

@MyWonderApple To be honest I have not had any issues with the 2gb. In order to be more future proof, also for the next operating system I would rather get the 4gbs though since you wont be abke to upgrade it after the purchase.

Just another note about the second question/statement: I can only imagine how much money and resources Apple allocated to designing and manufacturing the latest line of MacBook Air's (watch the video on the Apple site; although perhaps sensationalised, it highlights their innovative practices). Therefore, Apple passes these Research & Development costs onto the consumer (as any company selling a product does), which contributes to such a higher cost than other similar products.

@blackside909 Hey, I would definitely go with the 13 inch. Of course it is more expensive but you get more screen real estate with a higher resolution, better battery life, a faster processor and a SD card slot.

@mfgbassist Hey, it is difficult to imagine an 11-inch MacBook.

For me the screen was too small, even though it does have a high resolution.

I will get the 13 inch MacBook Air next week.

@GizmouMusic Hey, I have not tried this yet but I don't see a reason why it should not, since it is a regular Mac with the full Snow Leopard operating system on it.

@sabiel888 Well pages is quite a good application but I do have to admit that Word is still important since most businesses still use Windows so it is easier for file exchange/ document exchange if you use Microsoft Office.

Ich würde mich freuen wenn du in deinem kommenden Review auch darauf eingehst, wie sich das MacBook Air bei längeren HD Videos auf Youtube verhält. Ich hatte die erste Version des Air und nach ca 15-20 Minuten HD Video hat es angefangen zu ruckeln und wurde sehr heiß. Ich stehe vor der Überlegung mir so ein Gerät zu kaufen, und dieser Punkt spielt eine wichtige Rolle für mich.

@TechCentury i watched d 1st part ... it was good ! .. .i would like to hear d fan speed and the actual audio output too ... as in mac book .. audio output is kinda low ... and also gimme d batery stats fr watchin a movie and all .. does d air stay up 3hrs throu d muvie ..
