Great tone man! Although i noticed there are parts where the sound starts to distort (not the guitar obviously but the recording in itself). I had this problem with my other mixer and so i don't want to buy another product if thats gonna keep happening. Does this happen often when you record with it? Is it easy to fix? let me know :)
@brentonallen01 Do you meen the part when I play the song orion? because that was the only time that it happend when I recorded something, don't really know why it does that... but it never has done it again since this recording :)
Hey!!! I've the Epiphone SG Goth (pretty nice guitar-serie!!!) and i were looking for the Flying Goth ;p so... but i was just looking for some test about the Line6 GX... And this vid was awesome!!! will buy it this week ^^
Can anyone tells me how to get a great lead sound out of Pod Farm? I got some pretty good lead tone when I played with Pod Farm but they sound awful when I recorded them. Btw, killer metal riffing tone.
hello congratulations for the video you want to ask if you could tell me how I can get sound from my pod gx study how to slash. Use me as pod farm program 2 (if I can say that can I use amplifiers, such as cycling, etc. to have a sound like slash you'd be very grateful) sorry for my English, but I am a boy of 15 years Italian
i have one question. I have integrate sound card - intel AC'97 - its enough for this? And one more, i dont have good speakers, so can i put my Line 6 Spider IV 15w into pc lika a Speakers? Please answer me... sorry for pure english
yes you can use your amp like a pc speakers with a plug adaptor but the frequency range of your amp might not be broad enough to support the multimedia audio frequencies so if you play songs with many lows or excessive highs in your pc, in the future will end up damaging your amp
@Ango360 its possible to plug your amp as a speaker
if u have aux inputs on the amp ( red and white jacks) then u can link a simple headphone out to this aux inputs, i do this :p but i have a fender frontman 15g a worthless amp ^^ but it works for me, but be carefull u have to start with very low sounds cuz if its to loud u couldnt blow the speaker i did this once :p
can you use your own effects lets say before you plug in your guitar? Let's say i want to use my new pedal and this because the USB sound from the pedal is the problem. So the chainline would be
Guitar>Tonelab ST>Pod Studio GX>PC
just wondering cause i really don't want to use the software they give you
what i was wondering was, to record/play songs using the POD GX does your amp need to be plugged in and connected, because how else do you get sound to come out like what your doing?
the POD GX comes with software called "podfarm" in this software you have a big choise of amps and cabs and distortions and so on, you just need to connect your guitar to your POD wirh a normal guitar cable and the POS needs to be conected to your computer with a USB. you don't need any amp for recording or playing, you only need your computer speakers conected to your POD or some headphones
Battery to Orion !!! Fits so well.

Is it possible to play/record over a backing track with this thing?
Hiltzaile1 1 year ago
@Hiltzaile1 yes! it is, you only need a program that can record music.
and then if you put the backing track in the program you can just record over it.
Cheers
