What you're experiencing now is a collision of two jet streams heading in the same direction, and a collision of very, very cold air, and some very hot air. That's why you have the massive wind, and tornado outbreaks. Anytime cold fronts and warm fronts collide, expect severe weather.

We may have a more active storm season (just based in weather history in the yrs mentioned). The changes you may see that day are people may act a little strange, being the moon is full...not sure if closeness of it would do anything. I wouldnt worry because worrying will not stop it, it will not stop anything in life. Do the things that make you happy now, so you wont regret not doing them when your old and still here for worrying about the end of the world all the time.

The Super-moon is said to be a combination of the close approach of the moon at it's perigee plus higher than normal sunspot activity resulting in fluctuations in the earths magnetic field combined with the extra gravity of the moon which effects the tides as we know, all combining to destabilize already sensitive fault lines like those near Japan.
