WPIX "11 Alive" Promo

I love the "11 Alive" ID featured in this promo. So dated and cheesy, yet so cool. It was briefly featured in WPIX's 60th Anniversary special over a year ago. It was the only classic station ID that they featured IIRC. During a segment in which they recalled the "TV-PIXX" game.

I love these wpix promos.One that i recall was with woody allen in Take the Money and Run.He was in the restaurant booth going over the plan saying the title,behind him was a cop hearing it all and then the scene would fade out and go to the jingle and station id would appear and fly in space with Biery or lowenstien narrations................

Man I remember that exact promo. They used to have one for Sleeper as well.

I remember that Woddy Allen promo too :-). Seen it dozens of times: "Don't turn around. I want to speak to you about a business proposition. It's a bank job. Couple of guys and myself are going to get together and four weeks from now...quarter of a million dollars. We walk in and take it like that!" Though I wasnt a Woody Allen fan at the time (I am a fan now), so I never bothered to watch the movie (I would see it many years later).
