  • @Flamorgan It's mostly a reference to your naivety and over stereotyping of ireland. Such as 'do not eat corned beef in /any/ quantitues'.

  • @Flamorgan You're an idiot...

  • C´mon America, learn to spell it the right way!....It´s St. Paddy´s Day, not St. Patty´s Day. Patty is a girl´s name. - Bona fide Irishman.

  • what the hell is he doing pouring olive oil on that at the end fine to fry it in but my god . he might just get away with it if he added some butter or something but olive oil for god sake

  • Paddys day

  • WHEN EVERYONE START TO PUR OLIVE OIL OVER THAT GOOD FOOD?????----OIL IS SOOOOO FATTENING,,,SOOO MUCH CALORIES---PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL THE FOOD...IT IS OVERDONE....NO OLIVE OIL YOUNG WE ARE LOOKING FOR GOOD HEALTH .....

  • Wow corned beef and cabbage sounds yummy!

  • this is making my mouth water! These dishes look great!

  • We could have had a decent cuisine lineup if it wasn't for our unfortunate political and social conditions through history. Fuckin' English government stole all of our food to sell in England and we were forced to survive mainly off of potatoes. This is the reason why most people never really heard of ''Irish cuisine''. We never had the chance and/or enviornment to create culinary masterpieces like say the Italians, Spanish, French etc. Damn English.

  • @jerseyirish Contrary to popular opinion Ireland has some of the best farm produce in the world. We have the one of the richest agricultural areas in all of Europe due to our climate. You wont find better beef, lamb, pork or fish in the rest of Europe.

  • @Freshhhhh1982 I couldn't agree more. We had the ingredients all along but they were stolen from us. I bet we would have had fantastic steak recipes if given the chance. Irish butter is like the best in the world. Thank God I live next to NYC and have access to fine Irish butchershops and goods. Woodlawn section of the Bronx is practically like "Little Dublin".

  • Corned beef and Cabbage????? It's Bacon and Cabbage!!! where did they get corned beef from???? From a concerned Irishman :L

  • @DLS95 No clue none at all

  • @DLS95 When the Irish immigrated here during and after the Hunger,in the NYC area, 19th century. Jewish neighborhoods in the city had alot of corned beef. It is said the Irish immigrants didn't have access to the Irish bacon. So they went to Jewish delis and substituted corned beef so its something close Just a theory I picked up somewhere.

  • @jerseyirish Thanks very much for that!! Good to know

  • I agree with you two I hate it when people call corned beef and cabbage traditional Irish food. I have great grandparents that were from co. Cork and I have studied this.

  • Corndbeef isnt Irish it was invented in New York not in Ireland.

  • @seonidh I know. We eat bacon and cabbage instead.

  • @Freshhhhh1982 strange when they over there think its as irish as green beer, dying a river green and calling it St. Patties day. All of which are as Irish as corned beef which is jewish and as Irish as the Torah and a barmitzva

  • @seonidh They need to visit the motherland.

  • @Freshhhhh1982 yep and see it isnt filled with little green suited men sitting with a pot O'gold in fact they will realise its a modern forward thinking European country.

  • @Freshhhhh1982 Corned beef comes from the NYC Jewish neighborhoods. We didn't have the bacon like we did back at home lad. It was just a substitute to have something CLOSE to our bacon, from what I have read/heard. Old-school Jews and Irish from the city have told me this.

  • @jerseyirish Ah right. Never knew that. Thanks.
