Elvis never forgot his humble roots. He enjoyed giving to others. Elvis was human just like the many millions of his fans were. There was a connectedness in the relationship he had with his fans and his fans had with him. These are just a few reasons he was so loved. He will always be remembered for his music and for the man he was and the love he had for others. Rip Elvis
while some folks complain how he died and what he did wrong in life , look at some of the good he done . he was not all bad certainly folkscan agree on that
Did you see how he just kept hanging around, signing the autographs and kissing the ladies. He turned and waved how many times before he got on the plane. This man was incredible. He loved his fans. :)
@FrozenFartLicker That is a common mis-conception. The Memphis Mafia ( some of whom had little time for Elvis after he fired them ) said he died in the bathroom. And, even if he did die taking a shit, so what ? I work in healthcare. You might be surprised at how many people pass urine or faeces when they are dying. Who knows ? - it might even happen to you. Even kings take a dump now and then. There is no shame in it.
A piece of Elvis's shit would be worth more than most human beings. It's funny to think how despicably low some people will be to try to defame him. Doesn't matter though...HE'S THE KING, THEY AREN'T!
@matizzle32 . I`m from The UK and until recently had met more people who had seen an atomic bomb explode than had seen Elvis - no shit ! Yesterday I met a bloke who had worked with him, and even relatively young lasses wanted to touch him - because he`d worked with Elvis. It`s rediculous. They felt so excited to meet a man in his late 70`s, simply because he`d worked with Elvis 50 years ago !
Makes you wonder what the man himself had to put up with.
Why in the hell do I get goose bumps everytime I see footage like this... I guess soon I will post a photographic plea from the June 15, 1974 Saturday afternoon show in Fort Worth, Texas. Something incredible happened to me that day as a nine-year old with Elvis and I know that one of the 14000 fans in attendance has it on film...

Elvis was a wonderful person who did so much for so many people.
Sometimes even for people he did not even know.
That is part of the reason so many love him.
