i used 2 watch this show with an open mind and i enjoyed it but 2 c all the fake crap u know their taking the piss . its all about yvette fielding and her husband making loads o cash as their production company makes it.
I hate all the trickery, the over reactions, the digitised fake images and sound. I saw one live programme in a warehouse where they turned the lights out then turned them back on and someone said a coin had been thrown (while the lights were out)
Ghosts aren't real. Ever seen any tangible evidence in your life? Seriously? Weird things have happened in everyone's lives, but there is always an explanation that doesn't involve anything supernatural.
If they existed, there would be no debate about it and LOADS of footage where they are visible and wreaking havoc!
I don't watch the programme but do remember seeing part of one where Derek Acorah was in a aircraft museum and he walked up to a mangled WW2 airplane exhibit and started emoting about how he 'felt' something bad had happened to the aircraft (!?) and that he 'felt' a young man had died in the plane. Don't forget this was a museum and there was a ruddy great sign next to the exhibit that would surely have given all these details!!!! Not impressed at all.

i think it started off as a serious investigation into the paranormal,but as the the programme continued through the years ,if nothing happened ,they would fake it,,,unfortunately it continues to be faked,and thus has lost all credibility
Most Haunted in the earlier years made a good programme but the latest one are rubbish it has become to commercialised and is t fake and looks fake all the original characters are gone which makes me wonder why
I know you said it a month ago just thought Id reply. They can't keep doing the same stuff as the first season as people would get bored. Therefore they have started faking and making up alot of stuff- as you can see there is no 'sceptic' on the team anymore, like there was in the early days. They wouldnt be able to fake it if a sceptic was present.

At least Yvette is trying to keep the credibility going, with her telling Richard that HE has to say it on air, not Derek. I personally think that Most Haunted has become better since Derek was taken out of the equation. It is more credible, and also I am more inclined to believe what is going on.

Its entertaining, but in every episodes there are all these violent ghosts chasing after them, then ghost hunters go to the same place and you get a whisper at most.

each series of most haunted has a new way of communicating with the spirit world. like table tipping throwing stones tapping and whistling and at every location, the spirits don't let them down. I notice most of these "Most Haunted Busted Cheating" type videos all have a few things in common: they are convaluted and taken out of context. Some of them I even find mself asking 'So..how is *that* supposed to prove fakery?' I'm not saying they don't cheat, and I'm not saying they do...but bear in mind people that Most Haunted's bad reputation came from Derek Acorah, who was busted faking on two occasions by Cirana O'Keefe. I personally think that the majority of things that happen on Most Haunted are actually genuine, however there'd have to be something going on in every show so that's probably where all the cheating comes in, because no-one would wannt to watch it if there was nothing going on, & untill the camera's are rolling no-one'll know if something's going to happen or not.
Either way it's an entertaining, & sometimes creepy show. Fake or not.

The show is fake, period! Nothing is taken out of context, cheating is cheating and they have all been caught out on a number of ocassions. Clearly you haven't seen the plthora of clips taking from the show when they thought the cameras weren't rolling. ;)

look up, Mary loves dick, and Most Haunted Busted and all of derek's possesions are fake. in Mary Loves Dick, they don't know the camera is still filming and make a joke out of what derek finds when talking to 'sam' and in Most Haunted Busted, Stuart actually throws the glass when doing a seance and he admits it when he thinks the cameras still rolling!

Living TV may be free with a SKY subscription, but they are still a commercial company with a vested interest in making programmes which boost viewing figures, for SKY, and all the members of this team are paid or are indeed even related or owners of the production company. Doesn't that smack you as a conflict of interests in a supposed piece of 'investigative TV'? It is a sham and damaging to real 'paranormal investigators' if there are any. 1:100 would be my guess at that. A betrayal of trust.
tonyhig1 - Living TV is certainly not free with Sky channels! It is an encrypted pay channel and actually get a small percentage of the Sky subscription revenue. Only genuine free-to-air get no such money from Sky subscription.

The show is blatantley fake esp ackorah, but still it is good viewing and gives ideas to the world. You cannot see God or prove he exists yet people believe in him so you cannot rule out that it is remotely real. Have an open mind and its farely easy to pick out the utter bullshit from the truth

apparently you missed the fact that their medium once felt the presence of ghosts after being told that they were going to a certain strucure that was said to be haunted by those ghosts, while in fact they were in a totally different building miles away. their so called "medium" has been proven to just repeat informations he acquired beforehand and camouflaging them as spiritual input. also, compare this show to taps and you can see that this show is pure acting

I would expect any historian appearing on MH to be selected by virtue of being objective and having a healthy skepticism. This 'name-feeding' just reinforces my belief that they're all in it together for the money and not interested in paranormal investigation.
Richard Felix is one of the best things about the show. His love of history and for the subject of ghosts shines through so much it rubs off on you. He's a perfect choice for any tv show about these subjects.
So it isn't really Richard cheating - from what I heard he mentions a historical name and Yvette decides that Derek will reveal this name during a seance (psychically). Interesting...makes you question a lot of the programme.

its called feeding the medium, its not cheating in most case's it's a mistake, however if nothing is happening, it a valid idea to call a name of some you think is there, i think you should change the title. to some thing else ASAP
the spirits mediums use are known as jinns-they mix truthfulness with lies and sometimes leave you when they are helping you, therefore screwing the medium around-many mediums agree heavily on this point!
In the clip it looks like Derek was trying to link with spirits in the building, but your right in the characteristics of Jinns, though Derek would probably class "Sam" as an HGA.
I've watched this clip over several times and am surprised at the title (Richard Felix Cheating). It looks like Derek was having some difficulty linking with a spirit. Ciaran O'Keefe asked whether psychometry would help, and Richard Felix offered to call out the name of the architect. A misjudgment on his part, but nothing to indicate he was intentionally cheating.
In all their investigations, did anyone actually see a ghost or was any real evidence found for supernatural activity... NO.

At least Yvette is trying to keep the credibility going, with her telling Richard that HE has to say it on air, not Derek. I personally think that Most Haunted has become better since Derek was taken out of the equation. It is more credible, and also I am more inclined to believe what is going on.

each series of most haunted has a new way of communicating with the spirit world. like table tipping throwing stones tapping and whistling and at every location, the spirits don't let them down. I notice most of these "Most Haunted Busted Cheating" type videos all have a few things in common: they are convaluted and taken out of context. Some of them I even find mself asking 'So..how is *that* supposed to prove fakery?' I'm not saying they don't cheat, and I'm not saying they do...but bear in mind people that Most Haunted's bad reputation came from Derek Acorah, who was busted faking on two occasions by Cirana O'Keefe. I personally think that the majority of things that happen on Most Haunted are actually genuine, however there'd have to be something going on in every show so that's probably where all the cheating comes in, because no-one would wannt to watch it if there was nothing going on, & untill the camera's are rolling no-one'll know if something's going to happen or not.
Either way it's an entertaining, & sometimes creepy show. Fake or not.

Don't watch anymore due to way they didn't hold their up their hands and admit their culpability when Derek was caught out. Let's face it this clip is enough to show that they expected him to turn spirits on and off like a tap. He wasn't supposed to know where he was going before he got there so any prior info he had to be passed on by MH team, and would have been with full knowledge of producers and we all know who they are. Living TV may be free with a SKY subscription, but they are still a commercial company with a vested interest in making programmes which boost viewing figures, for SKY, and all the members of this team are paid or are indeed even related or owners of the production company. Doesn't that smack you as a conflict of interests in a supposed piece of 'investigative TV'? apparently you missed the fact that their medium once felt the presence of ghosts after being told that they were going to a certain strucure that was said to be haunted by those ghosts, while in fact they were in a totally different building miles away. their so called "medium" has been proven to just repeat informations he acquired beforehand and camouflaging them as spiritual input. also, compare this show to taps and you can see that this show is pure acting

They also decided not to carry on with the seance, ie they could've made something up and made it great in the last few mins they had, but they didn't! They didn't make out Derek knew the name either from Richards help off the air.
I dunno to me this makes this show seem more credible and less fake.

I've watched this clip over several times and am surprised at the title (Richard Felix Cheating). It looks like Derek was having some difficulty linking with a spirit.
