God gives us all free will to do as we please. He does not go against the physical laws of the universe however, if we ask for His protection, He will intervene in situations to protect us and will never force His way into a situation. Just like I don't force my way into my neighbors business unless they ask for my help.
My first time at the controls of a Cirrus, I found it overwhelmingly distracting. A lot of instructors are saying the same thing, watching their students fixate on unfolding navigational drama on the big screen, and not paying attention to flying the airplane, nor LOOKING where they are going. @e3dflyer I was taught to keep my scan up in three places....instruments, out the windshield and at my maps. This saved my life one day when I looked up from my maps at a Cessna head-on at about 1/2 mile...talk about pucker factor!
I went flying at KBDU (Boulder Municipal Apt) today right after this mid air happened. It was a scary and unfortunate event, but not unheard of on a busy and hazy day.
Cirrus move very fast and have very fancy avionics. If I had to speculate, I'd say that the Cirrus pilot's eyes were inside the cockpit. Again, that is speculation.
The Cirrus SR 20 does have a airframe recovery chute , but it does not deploy automaticly , someone had to pull pretty hard on the red T handle between the pilot and rigte seat.
no, Jesus is not a jerk. He is our Creator. He holds life and death in his hands. all im saying is that He has reasons for what He does...even if we dont understand.
