sad music for a defining moment of the game and the series. i find it sad not because snake was decieved. but because he has lived his life not trusting people and he knew Eva would betray him. this is proved so delicatly when he pulls out the Legacy from his pocket. that moment for me is the final straw for snake. when he truly shows he's lost faith in people and will do things only for himself from now on. thus making his descision for world domination etc. thats just my opinion

@mike978508 I wouldnt say its the final straw, in Portable Ops he's betrayed by the government again. And the whole world domination thing isnt just because of his distrust in people, although it is important. he created outer heaven to unite the world under The Boss's vision. Thats the whole reason The Patriots were created, to live up to the Boss's expectation after her great sacrifice to the country. Big Boss created Outer Heaven because of Major Zeros opinions on running the patriots.

It's actually from the soundtrack piece, Snake Eater. If you hum along, you can make out some of the lyrics. Like at 3:55 to 4:00, you can hear "I'm still in a dream..."

I've played MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, and even both of the original Metal Gears in anticipation for MGS4. Although, I'm really gonna hate to see it end though. It'll suck to know there will be no more Metal Gear in the coming years, no more Snake....

However, in terms of storyline, it doesn't have nearly the same amount of depth as MGS does. MGS touches on human emotions, politics, ethics, and beliefs; something DMC probably addresses in passing only.
