Very nice tutorial but when i pressed IA 4 on the GCX Pro the tuner doesnt show on the Axe-Fx...just the midi blinking to show a midi was sent. Please advise, thx much.

ok so lets say I have a patch in the axe fx. And I set it up with some effects. how do I save that patch to Large #1 on the GCP and how do I tell it which efx in that patch i want on or off? I want 4 sounds. clean dirty drive and lead. and then i want the SAME effects to be IA in that bank, please explain if you can. thanks,

If I follow the direction for the Tuner set up. It does not work as described in the video. Instead of getting the number 4 as shown in the video, I get B3 next to the tuner on my AXE FX. If this works properly are you suppose to get the tuner on your GCP when you push number 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Do you know how can i set up: 6 stomp boxes to work as an on/off system. And in the channel 7... control the sansamp psa.1.1 and use the bak up and down to scroll the sansamp presets? thanks for the attention

To power up the ground control from the GCX unit, what sort of mdi cable do I have to chose. do I have to chose a rocktron 5/7 pin cable or a standaard 5 pin cable?

The ground control pro is great. I use it for all my effects and switching my amps channels. I can't get it to work with my Gibson Echoplex digital pro. has anyone been successful with that setup? I'm using LOOP IV Software on my Echoplex.

I don't have any experience with the G Major 2. Speaking from an Axe-FX perspective I am able to use user definitions to assign the same CC messages to a variety of different effects. It does become a matter of planning thought and figuring out what I really need/use. As far as preset setup with the G Major...I have no info.

The best way to think of the GCPro is that it is a dumb user input device, GCPro just sends midi data to turn things on and off. All programming is done at the FX unit.

You can use some of it for other guitar processors, however this video is gear towards the Axe-FX setup.

you do not need to use the GCX. As far as the Boss GT Pro, I do not know its capabilities.

do you have to use the GCX Guitar Audio Switcher with the ground control pro or can you plug a Guitar Effects Processor like the boss gt pro into it and will it still work thanks
