@will101page 'ugly as fuck' actually is called Art Decó. Do you know something about achitecture or you're just trolling around? It was built 80 years ago in ONE YEAR and it's 443 m high, so is a lot more impressive than this arabic crap. The top floor on the ES is at 373 m and the top floor on the Khalifa is at 584, wich is not very impressive considering it took 6 years to be built and was done almost a century after the Empire State.

The chrysler on the other hand, is a beautiful building...New york in general is full of ugly concrete boxes, and NYs skyscrapers are ugly in general. Like the twin towers....Everyone wants them back but they are two ugly concrete boxes. google "shard london bridge", "Bishopsgate tower" Now that is good architecture

@will101page Well, I like the Bishpsgate tower but the other one is totally out of scale with the sorrunding buildings, just awful. New York have a lot of beautiful utra modern skycrapers beside of the 30's-70's buidings, designed with exquisit taste not like those tacky towers in Dubai. Most of the gratest skycrapers are in NY, like the Seagram Building by Mies Van der Rohe or the Woolworth Building (241 m built in 1910!!!)

@montotosk Yes im aware NY has nice skyscrapers (I used to live in NY) But what im saying about NY is, you get 10% great skyscrapers, and then 90% of garbage to go with it...I london most skyscrapers are beautiful and unique. The Shard though is to be the best skyscraper architecturally being built, Thats what makes it so iconic and unique, its the first supertall surrounded with Low rise buildings...London is traditionally a low rise city, most of london's great places are low rise
