I lost my girlfriend 2 weeks ago, and i didn't really think anyone understood the feeling of not being able to break down until I saw this, incredible.
Wow, you are very inspirational. Very touching. I believe that you bring up very important points. Just for other people, this man is truely amazing but some of you are exaggerating, saying he's a divine person of God, when in fact, we are all sent by God, he's just doing a better job of praising God than most of us.
@Kingthom101 I respect your thoughts, as they are well toughtout, but what I think they meen is that God has given him such a gift, and how amazing this gift truly is :)
I'm not religious,I'm not a christian, but after seeing Levi I have been writing poetry, you are so inspirational, and you are a great person, even if I'm not a christian, you're words still hit me hard and I always get emotional while watching your videos. Thank you.
I lost a sister july 14 this year she was only eight teen...she was in a car accident with her boy friend driving...they where in love they where about to go away to college together but anyways it devistated but this poem just reminds me so much of that time your amazing at wat you do keep going
Which is the reason a large majority of you keffiyeh wearing hipsters for christ are drawn to christianity in the first place. "Man, my life was sure 'effed up before I was introduced to Christ." Sure, I bet, you attention whores.
No, dude, helping people create problems is more like it. Middle-class kids who don't really have any problems seem to gravitate towards this type of attention whoring. How broken human kind is? That's an awfully negative outlook. He and the majority of christian young adults do romanticize the notion of mental illness, just look at the popularity of movies like Garden State and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Dude. No. He's trying to help people realize that they need God and that they are broken without him. He shows how broken human kind is and how much we need Christ! Did you even watch the video? He isn't trying to romanticize mental illness, he writes of the things he copes with and the love he lost. Through that pain he proclaims Christ.
Poor boy, I'm sure that if you would give up your romanticized notions of mental illness you would probably feel better. The notions of damned, downtrodden man will have to go as well, of course. Oh yeah, and you can't forget the preoccupation with the "alienated" prophet image. That's another nuisance.
@beornmnr8663 It's call a release, its how the more intellegent people rid themselves of terrible emotions. AH, someone more ignorant like you however might just simply call it something like, 'art?'
a friend of mine committed suicide 14 months ago, and this song describes every feeling perfectly.. wow.
