I know that there is likely a 0% chance of this, but have you ever considered doing a cover of "Slug", from the Passengers album? I think it's something that you, more than any other person, could really make work with your style of guitar playing.

For the longest time I thought it was the edge of the pic (no, no pun), when i realized it was the jagged face of it.....everything I played just came to life. I couldn't believe I was making those sounds myself. All players will find the same. BTW why no longer in the band??? I can't see stopping doing that once starting :)
