Whoopi is not happy because she does not know Kelly and is therefore susceptible to rumors. Right now, there is a nasty rumor targeting black women in general that says that Kelly is a racist (from the Kanye thing). That they are still talking Kanye ONE MONTH after the fact tells you this is what Whoopi is pissed about. Notice that Whoopi melts a little mid way through the interview, though, as Kelly has a tendency to do to people who are misled by rumors about her.

Kelly got really pissed off about the Kanye thing because she likes Taylor a lot. They are friends. And she didn't want to talk about it. Interviewers just love to bring those polemic questions all the time and over and over again. I don't think she's racist. If it was any other guy, she'd have the same reaction.

well if she did have a problem with Kelly over that then thats kinda disheartening. im not saying she does because i dont no the facts, however i think that she still could have been a bit more courteous towards her.

i dont think either are racist and that if someone else e.g. eminem (who im a fan off) had made the same comment Kelly would have still done the same thing.

Im not trying to start something, i just made an observation and was curious about why she seemed distanced.

No, I agree with you. I'm not raising any confrontations. I'm also curious about the quietness of Whoopi on this interview. The racism factor is really fragile to put into discussion. But is this really happening? People calling Kelly racist over the blog comment she left about Kanye? It's really offensive to call someone a racist. But indeed, I didn't like how Whoopi presented herself. She seemed a bit condescending. Kelly is such a nice girl. I can't see someone random not liking her.
