Americans and UFOs lol. Whenever your neighbour turns on the light, it`s an UFO! grow up. And to answer to your question, DavidJuaquin i will give you a hint:
The bright light in the middle of the screen looks like a transformer blowing. The other lights are lightning. It looks like you were too far away to hear the thunder.
Looks like lightning and a transformer blowing it ain't haarp if you think that you are a retard as haarp in Alaska is for ionosphere heating and the testing of deep sea to space complete communication but yeah defo looks weird from where you are standing but is a transformer
power sub-station. Look a tornado vids long enough and you'll see this. It's actually useful to recognize this in tornado prone areas, because then you can tell when they've hit ground regardless of light.
im 100% sure thats a damaged powerline arcing, when we had a huge storm in our area i saw the exact same thing and at the same time our power flickered and then went out...
Could be a military exercise...that is the only thing I can come up with. I was going to say actual lightening strikes, but they last too long to be that.
I think that must be from power substation. Whenever a storm destroy it, it would make a electrical explosion, like that. I believe it's called power flash
Yes, channel 12 news covered it after a ton of damage was done; downed trees, and all sorts of destruction. If you go to the NJ12 News website, you might be able to find clips of the reports which mention the microburst.
it's possible that it could be a substation where the low voltage side is arc faulting intermittently over and over on something and the power grid dispatcher has yet to receive the signal to cut the power to the substation (substations are designed to handle huge power drains, and consequently, they often self-destruct if there's a problem with the emergency response system that notifies the dispatcher to shut the station down in the event of a catastrophic malfunction.)
That is not what a transformer looks like when it overloads. There was a change in color with light intensity that I have never seen before. A huge amount of energy must have been needed to create that much light if it was as far away from the camera as it appeared to be. I doubt it was a coincidence that it occured during an electrical storm when it would be least noticed and harder to explain away.
they sure can..and besides, it couldn't be anything else (unless its a powerflash from a tornado tearing through that area..but this is not the case here).
If I had to guess I would say a transformer shorting out and exploding but they don't normally last as long. Try searching for 'Baton Rouge Louisiana Tornado' on youtube. It has a few exploding.

....i dunno. COULD be a transformer signal but most likely a weather phenomenon

thats a transformer blowing. If you'd had a tornado in your area, I would've said that it was a power-flash.
IrishBarFight 3 years ago 2
Yeah but why would the lights be on for so long and then go off for a minute and then back on? I don't think transformers blowing do that... do they?
SevereTstormFan 3 years ago 4
they sure can..and besides, it couldn't be anything else (unless its a powerflash from a tornado tearing through that area..but this is not the case here).
