I got me an RS700 and feel at home on it after a lot of practice soloing a Laser Vago...which has trap and kite...bit of a plastic tub but got me ready for the 700
@barney470 We moved to a laser 4000 after an International 420. It was hard going the first season but 3 seasons on we're pretty dialled into it and actually talking about a move to a twin trapeze class.
Be ready to spend a season scared and wet but it's do-able.
moving from a 420 to a lazer, mate how did you cope with loosing the trapeze!!??

with great difficulty, and concentration. usually downwind i just cleat off the main cause all the powers in the kite...
i had an ambition to race this boat in a multi boat race and not come last... i failed.
its worse to tack than gybe, in a good wind the kite pops round really easily, just take up the slack on the new side before you go.
