guys help plz!!!! im taking gcse music this year, i play the guitar and since i didnt hve a teacher in the beginning and hve self though myself, prefer tabs to notes, i also didnt do much theory
is there going to be a problem? do u think i should take another subject? plzzzz answer
ye this is amazing i made some shit on sibelias that i dont even remember my music exam is tomorow at 9am il be revising all night fricken rag desh gl to all doing music gcse while im geting a c i hope u all gte a star and god bless us if the rag desh comes up in the essay section and the perepetie for the other choice
This is brilliant this is. I hope you got an A* for this. I got an A* for my music GCSE courswork and this is so much better than any of my compositions which were all multi tracked with me playign all the instruments as well. The problem is the exam now which I have tomorrow. :S
Only think I would suggest is that you perhaps add more percussion (snare drum/drumkit?) and like iopegivvyi said, have a bridge section in the relative minor key.
in my opinion, you should probably have a bridge in the song which starys away from the G D Am C chord pattern. Im pretty sure thats G major so maybe you could have G minor triads for a bridge? so it would be Gm Dm Adim Cm. Just an idea, it could sound cool. Anyway, this is quite a nice song.
very good overall structure, what I would say is get the balance slightly better and perhaps some kit (thats just me, wanting to put drums into anything with guitar!)
I have to say... this is incredible!! Excellent rhythm and variations in the percussion. I can't imagine any examiner would listen to this and say it wasn't professional!
although i think it's really quite nice, i don't think it's gonna get what it's worth for GCSE, it's just too vague, i.e it's not dynamicly varied enough for pop music in context and it's too harmonic for minimalist, and plus minimalist music doesnt get many marks to be fair...although you have awesome sense of melody!keept it up x
This is not minimalism. Its chords. Often minimalism used static harmony - there is way too much harmonic movement. It sounded good though - easy listening.
If this was minimalism, and I'll assume you do Edexcel's course, then I would give you 19/30 since it really doesn't fulfil minimalism at all, but still sounds quite nice.
hi there, im taking A level music, and basicially.... WOW this is amazing!!! It would easily stand up at A-level standard, for GCSE ull get full marks easily! you have some real talent going on here :)
whats a level music like because im thinking about going to college and do a cource of peforming arts but im also a little tempted to go and stay on 6 form and do A level music
I would reccomend staying on for 6th form, as you'll have plenty of A levels for Uni rather than doing a straight performing arts course. I think Uni's such as LIPA, or Leeds College will look upon A-Levels better..i think.. In terms of A Level Music, its awsome and carries on where GCSE finished, however there is much more enphasise on technical mumbo-jumbo and writing cadences for the exam; compo and performance is the same really, just has to be a higher standard. Music Tech is awsome too!
wow a beautiful piece of work i could see a song being written to this XD but i suck at sing writing XD lol really nice you should get at least a B if not an A for that XD 5/5

great work, the chord pattern works really well and the examinors will love the repeatition almost bordering minimalism witht that :)

Yeah, that's good ... although you could have turned the guitar up a bit ;). You can hardly hear it from 0:33, and it's the best bit XD
Other than that ... that's really good! Well done dude.
