The highest compliment I can give you guys is to say, in all honesty, that I enjoy watching you do this as much as I enjoy watching the Roches' versions on the Tube. Beautifully done, and I think it takes overwhelming guts to even attempt this magnificent song. You do it justice! You're probably too young to remember when the Roches' first album came out, this track knocked us all for a loop, it was all over the hip FM stations (AM was all the Top 40 stuff back then). A great autobiographical song well covered. They captured the spirit of the Roches' vocals pretty well. That raw, unadorned push. That takes a lot of breath and commitment to sing that way with so little vibrato. It's one of the things that has set The Roches apart lo these many years. Kudos!
