You can't expect him to stick around every single show for every single tour to meet every single fan. He does do that sometimes in case you didn't know though. As for the shaking hands and waving. He does that ALL the time. Actually, he waves good-bye at the end of the show when he's walking off stage. And he shakes fan's hands quite often.

I'd like to share a story, though: I say Buckethead a few years ago, and there was a young man (probably 14-16) who dressed like Buckethead to the nines. Clearly, Buckethead was his hero. During Jordan, Buckethead came to the edge of the stage, leaned over, and let that kid play the killswitch during the main riff to Jordan. Amazing

He gives away toys to the audience every night he plays, he's given away a Les Paul before to an audience member, he's shaken peoples hands before, In 2008 he gave away two acoustic guitars at one show, he usually just throws his stuff into the audience, and he lets the audience play his guitar. He is seemingly a very kind man and wants to please all of his fans as best as he can. It's tough to be generous like that with the persona.

@Evanthezombie i don't know what your source is, but in my opinion the lyric here is "placid mask" as in "having a calm appearance or nature". that's just what i hear, i havent checked if there is an "official" posting of lyrics somewhere

i just want to say that b.h. was my boyfriend and coworker on and off for many years and no matter what,he is the most amazing musician,person,friend and teacher..hell my cousin is a famous guitarist and singer and said with the highest respect that b.h. was just too damn good for his band at the time

a new disease is detected!! butterfingers... it makes ppl accidentally click the dislike button on epic bands like Metallica, BLS, Breaking Benjamin and now it's starting to affect Buckethead... unfortunately, it has an opposite effect on Justin "Jackass" Beiber songs... no cure is yet found but metal scientists are working around the clock to discover it... :D
