Living in Lng Bch for decades, hear on radio that Rainbow is going to play at San Bernardino Swing Auditorium, my first thought was, where TF is SB?, the date is my b/d, so, we buy tickets. 2 days before gig, my car takes a crap! Older bro to the rescue, drive his old '56 p/u truck. All decked out, me in my 'undertaker suit'. Pulled in, & it's empty. Go up to doors, see note, concert is canceled. CHP must have seen us leave, & pulls us over. Talked ourselves outta jail, it was play in steering!

Boo..hiss...hiss to bootleg recordings. I'd do this: take paper/pencil, write down start time, name of bands play in order, songs played in order. Plus any special notes from performance. Like Prince getting booed off stage, and he comes back, and pisses on stage..I thought the group had potential with him on guitar. Anyway...get back home, buy the album that bands promoted in concert, record each song played onto reel to reel. It's my own version of...'is it live, or is it Memory X"...later!!

Remember the concert with rainbow back in the 80:s. about 10 000 and then the concert a couple of years ago in åkersberga (a remote suburb of stockholm) with only a few hundreds.. but RJD...you still rule...
