@lSaif He was an enemy soldier and known commander of a Viet Cong death squad. He was caught supervising the disposal of the bodies of 40+ civilian police officers and their families. The entire S. Vietnamese justice system was infiltrated by the VC and had he would have walked out of prison one night, set free by a corrupt guard or offical.
This execution, while violent and disturbing to sheltered eyes, was necessary and likely saved hundreds of lives.

According to intl. laws he didnt have a uniform nor was carrying out official battle orders (he's VC, neither SV or NV). The American populace were too stupid, they thought deriding anything made them look smart, so everyone got on the antiwar bandwagon without even knowing the truth, thinking the VC were good ppl

Lol urban war going on isnt an excuse . This man had his hand bonded and was basically harmless. The VC was at that point just a prisoner not a combatant. He has international law to protect him. Even though the general was doing his duty, it doesnt give him the right to act beyond the law. What he did was cold-blooded and inhuman there's no excuse. I understand why he did it but it doesnt mean what he did wasnt wrong.
