Yeah, they really dropped the ball with the Snes Frogger. Thankfully you liked Space Megaforce there after my review, I would've felt bad if you thought it sucked.
@starsoldier1 Yea its great. Thanks for doing your video. This is one of the things I love about our hobby - discovering games we never heard of and Space Megaforce certainly was one that was completely new to me :)
@LoricElf Blazing Lazers is fantastic, it's older so it my come across as being a little less flashy than Megaforce since you played it first but the game seriously kicks.
@8BitROB Just something about the Atari versions, even as inferior as they are technically, they're just so much fun. Centipede and Millipede are great examples.
Man I loved Tempest in the arcade, an it is the main reason I started building my MAME cabinet. Space Megaforce is on my short list of shmups for the SNES.
Well this vid did show in my new sub vids. But I do like comps too but nothing is like playing them on the original systems

@atarileaf-Did you ever feel like you needed a track ball controller when playing Centipede and Missile Command in that SNES collection??

Definitely check out Power Strike and Power Strike 2 for the Sega Master System-both were developed by Compile, and both are awesome games.

@atarileaf I agree. To me I think it's because I'm playing them with a joystick instead of a Dpad controller. It just feels better in my opinion.

The final boss in the video reminds me a top down version of the spaceship of Odysseus in Ulysses 31st century series. Very nice.
