People say it is annoying how you need a weakness to kill him...I actually thought it was neat how they did this...maybe I'm a glutton for punishment and people will think I'm crazy, but aren't there requirements for just about anything in video games now? You just gotta do a bit of guesswork in this case and it makes people mad. I don't blame them at all though. The only part that got me was if you got into this boss with no way to hurt him, you were pretty much screwed. That's the bad part.

I encountered High Max on Blizzard Wolfang Stage. He pretty much raped me, not being able to climb the walls is a big no no lol

If High Max ever does the Max punch or Cryptic Barrier, you can actually duck under neath his feet and he will still not hurt you at all.

I think you can use any special weapon. Metal Anchor works for sure as well. Any special weapon after a charged shot should do in damaging High Max. Seeing as how that comment was posted a month ago, I say you already know that now.

@Z3ro42 YOu can use any weapon, the thing is you have to get him on his armor break with a charge megabuster, little complicated but it works

@Z3ro42 no. you have to use your charge shot and any other weapons. For more damage, you can charge your weapon but it will take a lot of time. So, to make things easier equip yourself with the ultimate buster part

I hate this fight. He makes himself seem completely invulnerable during the last phase until someone tells you that he can be attacked directly with special weapons. Capcom is cheap with their difficulty ploys. Thanks for the vid, it cleared up this retarded fight a lot.

X6800 is right. I whooped on High Max's ass using Zero. Unfortunately for me I don't have any video cams to show how to beat him (optional fight only) before you get to Gate's Lab. You'd have to msg me for the how to. GR8 vid by the way
