  • Why wont your range allow steel cased ammo? what state you live in? I also have one of those dust cover mounts and it the biggest POS I ever seen. Mine the fit was bad, after 60 or so rounds would loosen up. I paid less than $20 for mine, and got a used BSA red dot for $30;

  • I've shot that ammo, steel rounds. Never had a problem and it's cheap.

  • I love your videos and also have a Yugo M70AB2, got it "new" from a local pawn/gun. So far, pretty good.. When I first shot it, the trigger group (G2) was not assembled properly, dust cover blew off in my face. The pawn shop "fixed it",but fell apart again. I was pissed, drinkin beers when a policeman stops to chat. Long story short, he removed the trigger group, filed rec. cover, and replaced it all and it's been perfect since. Awesome cop considering drunk me& apartment no gun rule! LOL

  • my sks loves brass jams on steel.

  • ak's are less reliable with brass from my experience. it was designed to shoot steel cased.

  • I would send that cover back even if it did fit my Yugo! That dust cover is not reliable to hold zero, it moves too much.

  • Thats ncstar for ya

  • I've been shooting that ammo through my SKS and never had a problem, I always look for it and its cheap.

  • Golden Tiger is brass coated steel, the range won't know the difference if you don't tell them ;)

  • @TAMYCRON Since when? I've got about 500 Golden Tiger, and that's not what they are at all. They're lacquer coated steel cased rounds.

  • @palerider1775

Whoops, sorry. I meant Golden Bear :P

  • @TAMYCRON Roger that.

  • Indoor shooting ranges are gay. I'd rather go to the outdoors ones.

  • due i scored 500 rounds of s and w 7.62 for 150 bucks people keep your eyes open on craigs list

  • I had that shirt haha

  • stay away from ncstar lol

  • Shit, I can't shoot steel cased ammo at my local range either. And I don't want to pay 15$ for 20 rounds of brass ammo.

  • @knowthetruth1492 yugo ammo is usually brass it corrosive but its alot cheaper

  • @WildLifeGuy308 , I've never used Yugo ammo but I will check it out. Thanks.

  • Should of bought it at the range,Fiocchi is great ammo. The best ammo is Silver Bear and Brown Bear for commersial and Yugo M67 for military surplus.

  • Don't feel bad about that top cover, that is a crap solution for mounting scope on any AK system because on all Ak-s top cover is rather lose and you will get sights off after every shot. Instead try to find a mount that has picantiny on top and fits a AK's side rail. As for the ammo try Serbians PPU (Prvi Partizan Uzice) AK rounds.

  • @filip0philip DAMNIT i bought the same setup

  • hey the sportsmansguide has really good deals cheaper than dirt is another good website and gun broker always a good deal going on at gun broker yea the biggest concern with steel casings is stuck shells which can lead to a broken exctracter claw

  • Tell us how it shoots! Been looking at that ammo too, but I can't seem to find any reviews on it.

  • look up yugo 7.62x39. its an excellent brass cased ammo. its clean too

as of right now i can only find it in bulk.

  • @mred6554 the primers are corrosive and you can't reload the cases.

  • try georgia arms for brass ammo
