  • I'm from Rochester Minnesota. It was named after your city and it's the third largest city in Minnesota. Thanks Rochester new york for the name.

  • rochester sucks, so glad to be moving out

  • @rhinogek Where are you going, West Virginia?

  • @FISHGAL69 West coast.

  • @rhinogek Fuck you.

  • @MegaCherryCat It is garbage, industry and corp is long gone, people here are either ghetto trash or fake stuck ups

  • @rhinogek Rochester is rich with history and it is a great place to grow up. And the education is better than most places, so you can stfu.

  • @MegaCherryCat The only history this dump has is how it grew off the eerie canal, like fifty other towns.

  • @TensionAirsoft Did you forget about kodak? That was a hella important part of our history. And I bet you live in a trashy city, Rochester is the best.

  • @MegaCherryCat Scottsdale is the opposite of a trash city, and besides, Kodak's been a penny stock for a long time, expect it to be gone within the decade.

  • @rhinogek

OMG you hate it to? Nice to meet you! : D

  • born and raised in rochester, and it is ok. some areas are nice, but more arent.....the history is what makes this city cool, and wegmans

  • @93tegDA Thanks for watching.

  • My town! I used to think it was a joke till I moved to Portland, Maine. Can't wait to move back-now I know better. Thanks for posting this, but now I am homesick-WEGMANS!!!!

  • @esil66 Thanks for watching, I haven't been to Portland, but I'll bet it is like a different world...

  • i live in rochester. it is not that nice.

  • @smartbrunette739 Like any city, there are properties that get attention and areas that need more attention and maybe some TLC. Thanks for watching.

  • @smartbrunette739 Its a great city they just need to clean up the crime i hate to say it but its fucking are city over

  • @smartbrunette739 Not that nice? Really? I live in one of the more desirable neighborhoods in Brooklyn and I'd move back to Rochester in a heartbeat. Rochester is one of the nicest cities in New York State. know a lot of non natives who moved to Rochester for school and have nothing but praise for the city.

  • what a dump of a town,i used to live there...lol what a joke it is...loserville...

  • @trancebites, I used to live there too. It'd be a decent city if it wasn't full of corrupt officials, poor public maintenance, and a bunch of morons. Also, the fact that's in in New York State pretty much makes it worthless. The buildings are nice though, there's nothing wrong with it's general geography and architecture.

  • I live ten minutes from the city,Rochester is beautiful,

  • @poblanaennewyork I agree, and it is really clean compared to NYC.

  • @FISHGAL69 ho yessss 100 % better Rochester than NYC, in everything,

  • Also i know what a wegmans is

  • I drink pop in rochester

  • I Miss my hometown :((((( well on the postive I'm full Rochester blood :D

  • i agree with u. im at college at RIT but im from California. so California is better than buffalo :)

  • Comment removed

  • My hometown. Lived in NYC 23 years, Jersey 3 years, Hudson Valley current. You could find it all in Rochester if you really looked.

  • Rochester is great!

  • Rochester doesn't get enough credit for its FOOD.

  • thats really the only positive thing i can say about rochester

  • What are your favorite places to dine in Rochester?

  • hell yeah my city

  • @mmaaat123 True dat

  • Rochester New York What A Town I tell ya the action never stops! im lucky i lived my whole life Here. fishgal69 ur beyond -awesome!

  • Thanks for watching, there's some great BBQ there too, for the foodies.

  • yeah! i was born here. it was great there.

  • Nice video! Makes me less sad that I live here and not NYC for now. By the way, to the people asking about the bridge, it's near Water St. and the Plaza hotel, it's a nice little walking bridge with the flag of each country Rochester has a sister city in and then below the flag there's a description about the respective city. It's kind of cool.

  • Thank you. Big difference between NYC and Rochester! Thanks for the info about the walking bridge with the flags. I may not get back to Rochester for another year, but sometime this fall I'll be visiting Niagara Falls.

  • Nicely done. Where is it the international flags are flying in Rochester?

  • There is a pedestrian bridge crossing the Genesee and park-like area not far from the hotels (it has been a while and I do not recall the names, or the street)

  • @alaivani they are downtown on the sister citys bridge going over the river.

  • Wow, this video is well done. Great virtual sight seeing tour! Take care i will be waiting for the next video.

    Thanks for sending me ZOETOOTS.

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed this one. The next trip has 2 big cities on the itinerary.

  • I now wanna go there! YOU edited this perfectly and I loved the narration! You captured my attention! It had lots of charm.

  • Awe, thanks. If you do visit be sure to sample the locally produced beer. At :40-:41 is a shot of the Genessee Brewery. It's not a fancy brand like the one you taste tested, but it is better than Bud. IMHO

  • Great! I know only a little NY. When I go next, I want to come across more NY.

  • You were close to Rochester, when you visited Niagara Falls (which is very nice)

  • Such a variety of architectural styles.

  • Yes, the older buildings in the downtown area are well kept.

  • Nice work.

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks!

  • I want to live there. What's the building at 0:49?

  • I am fairly certain that is the Granite building. The first building in Rochester to use a steel frame and it was touted as a fire proof building at the time. Unfortunately, it was severely damaged in the great fire of 1906. Not fireproof.

  • I enjoyed watching this. I have only been to Rochester once, and learned more from watching the vid than from my visit.

Go Rochester, RIT, Susan B, and Frederick D!

  • Thanks, I like your ryme. This was my 2nd visit, and if I go again I want to tour the Anthony house.

  • Thanks for watching. It has been said that the architect of the Time Square building was inspired by 4 seashells he found on the beach.

  • Very interesting stuff. I love that they are called wings of progress. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
