The truth is that just like 60% of the rest of the US population, the majority of pregnant women are overweight, which puts them AND their unborn children at risk for all sorts of issues. This perception that pregnant women should look like they have been eating for two is unhealthy and wrong to perpetuate. It is between a woman and her OB whether she is gaining healthy weight.

@ThomasDemko sex before giving birth isnt going to make a pre mature birth, the mucous plug inside a womans cervix/vagina protects the baby fromt he outsdie world.. including a penis. sex isnt suggested in the two weeks before labour, but in some cases where a woman is having trouble going into labour,as in the day/s of.. when a womans going into labour.. sex is actually recoomended because it will help contractions start with orgasm. sex while pregnant is fine, just not before labour.
