@hgwaterholes It's the other way around. Modern comedians are much more at pressure to produce new material. Check out Izzards' 'Believe'. Some produce less, some produce more, but ALL comedians have limits when it comes to producing new jokes.

All comedians repeat their jokes all the time, always have, always will. It's only natural, so accept it as a fact of life.
