  • No sound.

  • PULL THE LEVAR KRONK! lmao love eartha

  • ya know when she says a "birdwoman" catwowan

  • A great American, she was blackballed for years because of an incident at a White House luncheon. A brave lady.

  • What is the question Dorothy Kilgallen asking at 1:51?

  • @tanynzh she's asking about Eartha Kitt's well known rendition of "Santa Baby," as when singing it, it sounds like the singer is a rather close friend of the old man in red

  • Dorothy is saying something at 2:39, and I can't hear what it is? "Might you be described as SOMETHING in your performance?" :) I'm not English, therefore the stupid question.

  • "Might you be described as SINUOUS in your performance" is what she asked:

1.having many curves, bends, or turns; winding: a sinuous path.

    2.indirect; devious: sinuous questions.

3.characterized by a series of graceful curving motions: a sinuous dance.

where are you from? da dove sei? de donde estas? (Eartha would have been able to ask you in at least 10 languages!)

  • and that's not a stupid question at all (-;

  • Thank you so much for helping me!! Now it all makes a lot more sense :) .. I'm actually from Denmark, the tiny tiny country in Scandinavia ;)

  • I got to see Eartha Kitt perform at the Blue Note in New York. She could still belt out a good tune even when she was 80 years old. Amazing.

  • She is 82 in heaven now R.I.P I love you. She died so close to her 82nd birthday.

  • How in the world did she guess it was Earth Kitt based on next to no info? It had to be just the um mm sound! Excellent video. She was too sexy!!

  • Dorothy Kilgallen was always really good with guessing the mystery guests.

  • She was a great one.

  • Rest in peace, Miss Kitt, you will be missed. I remember seeing her in an interview about James Dean (whom she called Jamie), and how she cried when she recalled being told of his death. Well, she's with Jamie again, who was like a brother to her.

  • She was the most exciting woman in the world.

  • I certainly agree with you. She was all excitement herself! What an interesting woman. She was so talented and wonderful. I always wanted to meet her, just to talk to her, but it never happened. I felt very sad when she recently passed away. She must be very popular in heaven, because she was unique in many ways. I love her and will miss her always.

  • R.I.P. Eartha Kitt...1927-2008! :'(

  • i'm 12 and i've heard of her. does anybody know what else she was in back in the 50s. I do believe she plays Yzma in the Emperors New Groove movie and on the Emperors New School series on disney but this video is from very long ago. what else was she in or was she only a singer?

  • She was the orginal Catwoman on the Batman series in the 1960's. She was also in alot of movies! ^_^

  • Have you ever seen the movie "Holes"? She was Madame Zeroni in it. Lol...I love that movie.

  • I saw Eartha Kitt about four or five years ago in a club performance and she was incredibly good, her voice had not changed except deeper. Still a great singer and was indeed 'sinuous'.

  • Eartha Kitt is, was, and always will be the best. I adore her!!
