  • I wonder what would the r8 look like with matt tracks

  • 5.2 sounds much better. :)

  • i jizz in my pants when i hear that engine growl =]

  • wish i had the r8

  • Audi is the best car ever, I owned many audi's now I have Audi A8 L, love it!

  • that's the only was to go

  • yeah, this car was made for winter tracks.....

  • one bad ass audi : ]

  • @MikeDelaronde07 yur fucking retarded you little jealous bitch

  • you stilll need great winter tires for doing staff like this!

  • I can not understand why the sports car on the track wrzuciliście terrain - a sports car type for the Audi Q7 5.0 or BMW X6 M or mercerdes GL 500

  • maintenance is low? are you kidding me? brake pads on my s6 costs about 4-700$, i can just imagine what they are on the r8. the Audi dealer told me a oil change on the v-10 is roughly 400$.

  • that is very true, my uncle has a austin M and his changes are outlandish, BUT if you can afford one I don't think you car about how much the oil changes are or the mpg lol. my uncle doesnt give a rats ass.

  • gay

  • at least he's willing to fuck around with it a bit instead of a garage queen =)

  • now that i agree with right there:)

  • your just jealous this guy has the money and skill to do this. well, maybe not. But it makes sense.

  • @halflife103 Skill to do what? Drive next to straight through the snow? Yea... Reaaalllll harrrddd

  • you must have never driven through snow before.

  • I live in Buffalo asswipe, don't talk to me about snow until you've experienced feet of Lake Effect snow.

  • Then you should know that now everyone can drive in ice and snow in an over powerd vehicle!

seriously calm down. You have already proved your ignorance to me twice. First denying that any skill is involved in this (there obviously was) and second, you stooped to calling me an asswipe. Often when people are proven wrong or cannot think of anything better to say... or well simply to stupid they swear at their opposition. Way to prove an American Steriotype .

  • Ah I see, you must be on a higher platform of life due to you being of European descent, am I correct?

Yes it is hard to drive in snow in an overpowered vehicle, I drive a 304hp (At the wheels) Lincoln Mark VIII, I know all about too much power coming on in snow.

But he's not blazing around racing, he's simply driving in snow, if you keep the throttle down, its perfectly safe. Not to mention, the R8 has shit tons of electronic nannies as well as AWD, and he has said he bought snow tires.

  • okay, you made your point. all i'm saying is that not everyone can do this.

  • I will agree with you on that. I realized today on my way to work, (looking at all the idiots who were sliding around and a few who had slid off the road) that I probably worded that first comment in the wrong way.

No its not easy to drive in snow in a high powered car, but its not impossible. If you use proper throttle input and correct steering input then you will have little drama in driving. However many fools do not realize this and end up off the road because they drive like summer.

  • oh i know, they often pass me and spinout infront of me into the ditch. Some people are jsut to stupid and arrogant to think of anyone elses safety but themselves. But also... alot dont know what to do in those situations.

  • Yea, although I know I shouldn't, when those idiots pass me and end up spinning out or in a ditch, I chuckle a little inside. But its these same people who end up causing other's harm because they often get in accidents with others.

I honestly attribute it a lot to low standards of licensing (At least NY's). Get permit, have permit for 6 months, pass a 3 minute driving test on 2 lane side streets, none of which are over 30mph, no stoplights, etc, too easy IMO. It needs winter driving training.

  • really? i learned to drive in the winter... i had to pass a driving test around the city.

  • Oh, yea you can learn to drive in winter around here and you can take your drivers test in winter, but like I said, its only 3 minutes, and its not required to learn to drive in winter. Many just get their licenses in the summer and well, learn as they go in snow, and then end up getting into accidents because they drive like its summer.

  • he loves to play in the snow <3

  • Wow I love it! I was wondering if I could use the R8 as a daily driver, I live in Utah.

What are the maintenance costs on an R8?

  • I have 3 years of free checkups (free brake pads and discs) and a 3 year warranty. I think they call it audi service plus package. All I had to buy was the snow tires and 18inch rims for them. So maintenance is low and in the snow it was really a performance car.

  • do snow tires make a huge difference?

  • Yes, they do.

  • ooh yea. Unbeliveably different.

  • lol, i was just checking what i asked you, what a friggin stupid question...especially since i live in Canada! I must have meant to ask u something else....anywyas AWD and 4WD are amazing inventions... i wish more cars had Awd.

  • lol yea, i have a truck for winter and i always have the hubs locked in. so if i need to go to 4x4 i don't have to get out of the truck XD

  • oh man, you still have to lock the hubs... must be an older truck...can't stand that system...i guess i'm spoiled, well we're all spoiled these days with technology.

  • yea.... fucking rangers XD

  • wooooo! on entend mon telephone qui sonne.. haha

  • C'est moi le malade, mais toi t'as pris ta R8 sur NEIGE LOOOL!!fracasse bien ta caisse...

sans ca, le son de la bagnol est bien cool :D
