"Best UK band since Oasis" I see two things very wrong about that post.

Oasis can suck it. "lets rewrite a load of Beatles songs for people with no brain function and then criticise Radiohead for sounding like The Beatles"

On part of the refrains like the one 2:20-2:25 & 3:05-3:10, he is singing in a similar rhythmic beat to On The Dark Side by Eddie & The Cruisers.

Well, the band is based in Montreal, but their lead singer Win was born in Texas and raised in the US, as is his brother and bandmate WIlliam.

I think that Arcade Fire could be the greatest band of this generation. Like REM, U2 and Nirvana once were.
