indeed, this anime is far superior to most gun action animes

though it also incorporates the stormtrooper effect, it gives a good excuse for it and presents canaan as an irregular individual who has the ability to dodge them

needs more work on strategy and tactics however, canaan's military judgement is too rash and uncreative. if alphard rly wanted to kill her, she coulda rushed her with the snake balalika(blacklagoon)style, that woulda been interesting

I kind of doubt that actually. It's not really the type of show that would pop up on Adult Swim between Fullmetal and Bleach. For one; the ten year olds who watch the dubbed animes at 11 at night probably wouldn't understand CANAAN at all nor would they be able to appreciate the drool-inducing animation and clandestine yuri elements of win. Not to mention the blood censoring... And like, it's about biological warfare and Middle Eastern terrorists. No, I don't think it'll make it to America.

Ah...perhaps. Honestly, reading back on my previous post, I realize I was thinking in terms of CANAAN airing on American TV; not just getting a dub. So let's do a very short revision.

Alright, a dub WILL probably happen, CANAAN being so insanely badass and all. It'll be an awkward joke in the face of the original CVs (Recall; this year's Best Leading Seiyuu.) but...what's new there? I don't think it'll end up on TV, though. ...Yup.  Or would that be mandatory? I wouldn't know. XP I fail.

Well, compared to the anime we get now, action genres are hard to find. The movements do seem a little stiff at times, but the opening and planning for fight scenes are good, better what I've seen in awhile. I'd reccommend this anime.

Cause most of the time they make girl for sex looks and that just distracts the whole character development. It just has little to no story.

This anime is all about ideals/motives and relationships. Most of what's in the anime is backed up by epic gun fights.

You won't find a complex story, but this anime succeeds in what i have listed up there ^^.

The key word to this short anime: emotion.

I love the style of it, very good looking in HD. I've only seen on other anime series that has the same HD look which is FMA: Brotherhood. But anyway this is a good series i recommend it for everyone :)
