First you film your background (in this example its his living room) the you film you sitting different places in the living room. After that you just take the video clip with you in the living room, and after that cut over to the clip without you. Repeat that and ad some transitions and then you are done. I hope that helped most of you guys

the only effect was fading the videos together to make it look like he disappeared. so just cut the video when you want him to disappear
