  • holy fuck thats a lot of trees

  • boring....

  • wow this ride flies

  • This is the Chinese equivalent of Boulder Dash.

  • Now THAT'S what I call a wooden coaster!!

  • Now that coaster was whipping it through the track..... Rolling

  • Can't wait for the new coaster your making here in Florida!

(The new Gwazi trains actually made the ride feel rougher then it was before. Then again the ride is turning 13 years old this year)

  • Holy gosh! OMG, this is one fast long-ass wooden beast. what a ride!

  • sexy layout

  • @GreatCoasters This is REALLY nice!! Love the use of the mountainous terrain and the style of the ride: its compact but you spaced it out a little more with the use of more land; I really like it. Will have to ride one day

  • This looks great, but not enough up and down hills with steep drops. I think El Toro is better as the drops are steeper and more up and down hills, not just bends.

  • BEST COASTER VIDEO I HAVE SEEN...OH MY GOSH....WHAT A RIDE !!

  • I've tried this COOL! :DD

  • Ive ridden my share of GCIs before and all I can see after seeing this one for the first time is daaamn. It seems like its going downhill constantly and it has that lurching feel of rides like prowler.

  • 1 person who works for Gravity Group saw this, only explanation for the single dislike.

  • Incredible. It reminds me of Thunderhead. I love GCI so much :)

  • What a beautiful ride, thanks

  • The orignal Mountain Flyer was in Holyoke Massachustetts.I never rode it.It was torn down in the 70s way before i was born. My dad rode it. Anyways looks good in china, but I doubt it has much airtime, athough its fast.

  • they need to redo son of beast

  • If rides like apocalypse/terminator salvation are fast, and this dwarfs them, the world will explode when u make a hyper coaster. Stunning and beautiful.

  • This Coaster Opened since Jul 19 2011

  • That is sooo cool!!! It has like 3 first drops!!

  • Great Adventure needs one of these!

  • that was bloody beautiful

  • I am so jealous of this. I began saving up money to go to amusement parks around the United States but I think I am going to have to go to China just for this. This would hands down beat El Toro for my number 1 coaster. I'm praying for something like this at Great Adventure, obviously without the terrain part, but maybe some trenches or something.

  • wow. again. this is getting almost predictable, stupid gcii, youre too good.

  • Love the ride, but I bet the Voyage is a better layout with the tunnels and 90 degree corners.

  • Looks awesome! WHYYY does it have to be in China!?!?! it looks soo good but it's soo far away from the U.S.! i wish you guys would build something like this in the U.S.

  • I like this ride a lot, but I don't see it beating the Voyage as #1. It has some nice elements though, such as staying banked even when it wasnt turning. The way it uses the landscape was well done, and it had a nicel tunnel. I wish it had a few 90's!

  • @ruben12268 it has an underbanked turn at the very beginning right after the pre-drop.

  • Holy moly, you guys. I've been waiting for this video. What an amazing layout. Great job! Well done!

  • um? 1 dislike? what are you? some kind of monster?

  • That is a big GCI!

  • This coaster looks awesome!

    Awesome Video!

  • I needed a USA trip already, but with new coasters like Star Ripper and this one I need a China trip! Only thing missing on this one is a under-banked turn (see end of Joris en de Draak, George and the Dragon)

  • OMG OMG OMG I HEART GCII 4EVER!!! =D

  • If I was as hot as this coaster I would be a Hollister model

  • Best woodie ever!

  • Daang, GCI knows whatsup.

  • good ride!

  • Looks really great. Love how twisty it is :D Hopefully, being new, it combines the feel of a traditional wooden coaster with the smoothness and comfort of a modern one.

  • @MEareCAT Yep, that's what GCI always does! =)

  • Perfect ! Sounds like the best wooden coaster ever built... Congrats GCoastersI !!!

  • Incroyable !

    Comment faire mieux ?

    Perso , j'en bave !

  • That's awesome! Too bad I'll never ride it :(

  • It' a little slow to me..... Try this one.

    youtube KENNY NASH "DESIRE"

  • This coaster looks like you're going waaaaay too fast over speedbumps. WANT

  • @komilatte It is supposed to be like that. It gives the riders airtime.

  • @SuperTkdkid I know, that's why it looks so epic. :D

  • I'm starting WWIII over this.....

  • GCII, you sexy beasts.

  • Oh god... China is more near for me with this marvel...

  • "EPIC FORCE"

  • How many seconds of airtime?

  • this looks tame compared to el toro @ six flags new jersey. this looks faster with less air time.

  • @D3Andr3 El Toro in new Jersey is a prefab, which next to no laterals, much slower pacing, and absolutely none of that true "wooden coaster feel" I would pick this over El Toro any day

  • @slosprint5 From what i've heard, El Toro is one of the most comfortable, smoothest, intense wooden coasters of all time, and is widely regarded as one of the best coasters in the world, so it obviously has something going for it.

  • @MEareCAT Smooth does not equal good, and while El Toro may have more intense forces, it never achieves that true out of control feeling. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great ride, but it doesn't compare to many other wooden coasters out there. My personal favorite is Boulder Dash, huge props to GCI for re-tracking it, it is a better ride now than it ever was before.

  • @slosprint5 Have you been on El Toro?!?! The turns at the end that are close to the ground have crazy laterals. The pacing on that ride is also top knotch. In fact, it feels like the ride barely slows down.

  • @IntaLSM Yes, I have been on El Toro, as well as some of the greatest wooden coasters in the world (Boulder Dash, Hades, Phoenix, etc.) and what makes wooden coasters great is that at no moment do you feel safe or secure. The laterals on El Toro came from it's smooth transitions, something you can get on any transition and steel coasters do it a lot better on rides like Maverick. Btw, fantastic work on the re-tracking of Boulder Dash, GCI! I nkow this is a bit late, but you really improved it!

  • @slosprint5 Laterals include twisting forces, of which the last part of El Toro has plenty.

  • @xtremespeed128 Technically yes, but they do have quite a different "on-ride" feel to them.

  • @xtremespeed128 There are laterals on El Toro, but it is because the two ends of the transition are quicker than the center, so when you stop transition you get a rotational jolt. You get rotated at the center of your body which means that it isn't a lateral where you are sliding, which is what makes laterals fun (as @slosprint5 mentioned) Also, El Toro has restraints holding you in on laterals which can be uncomfortable on the hips rather than the side of the train or a divider

  • SO MUCH AIR!

  • It looks absolutely beautiful!

  • droooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • NICE.

  • I think we don't have any word to describe this.. *_*

So I suggest to creat the adjective "Mountain-Flyer".

i.e. "Whoa, this is a lil' bit Mountain-Flyer at some point!" or "Oulala, this is huge, insane, great, and even a little Mountain-Flyer!"

(Nota: Nothing can be totally Mountain-Flyer except Mountain Flyer itself)

  • really nice !!!!

  • This looks incredible.

  • A Beautiful Wooden Creation......

  • I'm going to beat up an asian tomorrow out of jealousy.

  • thats just flat out amazing!

  • Wow. wow. wow. I wish I lived in China for this! You have outdone yourselves GCI. Fantastic job.

  • Jaw=dropped

  • That pacing is unreal.

  • Amazing!!!

  • Wow! this is amazing, I love it <3
