  • Wonderful video.

  • thanks for this vid.

  • josh Sundquist XD <3

  • Good to include the quality captioning in the video for millions of us. Saying thanks for that. Perhaps add mention of that in credits someplace? It's our ramp for communication access.

  • @siglmgga

:-( I can really understand what people with disabilities gpo through on a daily basis.

Several months ago, I severed my left leg in a freak home accident, and now I'm in severe pain even after the surgery and metal screws. I'm not strong enough to do this on my own.

I support people with disabilities, but sometimes the pain gets so unbearable I just want God to take me.

I'm not talking suicide, but I just want to quit! I want to be a Vegatable.

  • @pluto4847 I'm sure that most of us reading want you to find support and the comforts, someplace, that you deserve - keep trying. Many of us also have felt similarly sometimes, healing takes a long time. One thing your comment does so well is to illustrate that most people are "temporarily" able, and disability comes in many forms, at any age, sometimes on top of very limited resources. Perhaps a local nurse will understand and try to find patience and more resources for you.

  • @siglmgga

And a physical disability just does not slow you down physically, it impairs your fiances, and hurts you emotionally.

I did everything my doctors advised. I am better now, but I still relapse.

It got so bad at times I was screaming in severe agony--the likes of someone in hellfire.

I do get better, but I'm not 100%. I get inpatient with the healing process.

I will be seeing my primary care doctor next week, and I'll explain how it has effected me.

  • @pluto4847 bro, being a veggie is definitely NOT the way to be. think of how you would be effecting all those who know and care about you. do you really think that's fair? anyways, i was a veggie once. i was in a freak car accident and had to be air-lifted to a hospital specializing in the care of people with severe brain injuries. i wasn't supposed to live or be able to use my left side, but here i am! :) completely socialized back into society with extremely minor quirks.

    don't be a veggie.

  • @allalesha

Thanks for the comments. I am doing much better now. I was just very inpatient and scared at the time of my accident.

I won't lie to you. I'm not 100%. I'll never be 100% ever again, but I'm at least 70% of my old self. No more playing basletball. No more running, but I can do other things.

I'm limping around now with a cain, but I'm very happy I came this far.

Now I fear the snow. I'll have to be extra careful this winter.

  • Josh =D

    Nice campaign guys =)

  • JOSH SUNDQUIST!!!!!

  • @swbaker2337 Hi!

  • I absolutely love this message! It's about time someone speaks out about this! I know I have cerebral palsy, and I think that maybe that has had some effect on me getting hired. I However am medication now to control the involuntary movement. So I think that this will help me land that next job. I did however work at Safeway for almost three years but the work was to tough, I'm also going back to school as well!

  • Make fun of someone handicapped and everyone will luagh. Make fun of a black guy and everyone freaks out.

  • This video massage sensitize the society more. Now we are helding disability program from NEPAL Television . it is playing a key role to sensitize the society.now i am adding video lyric. this songs words are very meaning ful hope you will like it. lyric work created by National federation of disable's -Nepal president.directed by padam raj poudel and action aid ,add nepal,NFDN coordicated to make it.

  • Talk less. Do more.

  • The federal government is good at promoting itself. Too bad there's no follow-through and no managers being held accountable. Year after year, there are campaigns to hire persons with disabilities. nothing changes and, in fact, the numbers continue to get worse!

  • Does anyone have a way to get a job? I've been labeled "disabled" and fired from my job. I could really use some help to find a VIABLE job or business.

  • @Mremma14567 if you live in south dakto thier a place you can go to they can help you find a job,and lots other things,if you do,e-mail than i will give you the number to the place, and who to talk to

  • Thank you so much for your reply. I've gone through all of the government and the "nonprofits" and they refuse any help because I don't have the right "disability" or just have so low wages that are impossible to live on. If you have the name, it would great. Maybe they would have some help for me. I'm UNABLE to do telemarketing.

  • @Mremma14567 Try seeking out your State Vocational Rehabilitation Agency

  • This is an excellent video to present to employers about the value of hiring people with disabilities. Good work!

  • As a Job Developer, this is exactly what I try to educate the public on. Well done! :-)

  • Well done!

  • Awesome!

  • Excellent ! Excellent !

  • Excellent video and message--very effectively done!

  • YEA JOSH!

  • yo.....thanks!
